Story:I arrived at the training event in the late morning. Not as nervous as the last time but with twice as much dogs in my jeep. If my pack grew more I'd need a bigger car.
Anyways, there already were a lot of Mkali owners on the field, most of them prepared with colourful frisbee discs. The excitement out there immediately transferred a bit to my own Mkali. Four wagging tails waited impatiently to get out of the car.
I decided to start with Kira. As usually she was the most calm and the less motivated one of my pack. Even Atreus, who was still a bit too young for this event, was more excited than her. But I was sure she'd have some fun, too. She just behaved more mature than necessary.
I grabbed her favourite disc and together we went to the throwing areas. We waited a bit to come in. As imagined Kira just pretended to be unmotivated because she immediately chased the disc when I threw it. She caught it shortly before it touched the ground. Then she stopped midway and looked at me. I got the strange feeling she wanted to test if she could keep the disc or if she really had to bring it to me. I called her, one single time and maybe a little bit harsh. Luckily she realized that it was not the time for fights and bringing the frisbee back to me could result in more fun for her. So she came back to me and we continued with some more throws. After a while I decided that it was enough because I was worried about her bad leg. Instead of overdrawing we returned to the pack where a much more relaxed Kira lay down between her buddies.

Story:Glimmer was the next in the line. Although she was recently pregnant I decided a few throws won't do harm. And it really seemed she wanted to have a bit action. So I took her shiny silver disc and she followed me tail wagging to the fields.
Glimmer even jumped up and down before I did my first throw. She was really excited but in a good way. I did a few short throws for warming up and she fetched nearly all of them in the air. When we came to the longer throws she really showed off her name. She literally flew over the grass. I must admit I was a bit proud of her. There was no competition at all but Glimmer did her best to catch as many disc as possible. She was really motivated and it was a pleasure to look at her. After a while I went over to vary the throwing distances a bit. And from time to time I faked a throw. But Glimmer was hard to outsmart. I was sure she would be able to continue but noon came closer and I wanted to play with Rumble before sun got too hot. Therefore I made a final long throw and allowed Glimmer to keep her frisbee disc. She carried it happily when we returned to the pack.
