Yes, you can cancel without a winner Just make sure to let everyone know and cancel the bids, so they won't have a trade sitting that will never be cancelled, etc.

Question about auctioning off C$:

I read a couple pages back (the conversation between jiloon and Orchid Sprig) that it's okay to auction off C$, so long as you have the C$ in your account already. What I am wondering is, would it be a good idea to screenshot my balance to prove to bidders that I own the C$ already? If this isn't how I would prove it, what is the way I could?

And another question, which sounds like it has a really obvious answer. Can I hold a quantity auction for my C$?

Yes, it is fine to auction off your C$. To show proof, screenshot a great idea, but most members don't because the trade won't go through if you don't have enough C$ considering you can directly trade C$ now.

Iv'e seen quite a few rants where the auctioneer goes through the bidder's groups and adds to their bid..
shouldnt there be a rule against that?
because 1. You didnt offer the trade
2. its unfair to the other bidders

ex Auctioneer should not edit a bid unless asked by bidder.

I don't know tue actual answer to that, but I would say it is most likely against the rules since they are tech. begging for items and trying to use it to their advantage.

Sadly I don't think it is against the rules, but it is frowned upon by many users. I personally think that they shouldn't be allowed to edit without permission.

I have a question....
I'm planning to make an auction of 100 C$, but I can't buy them until I get paid in about 2 weeks, so was wondering... is it against the rules to start the bid "Today" with an end date of lets say 3 weeks without having the money "Now" but knowing will have it when the auction is over?¿
