Dice nearly rips through the gates as the race begins, speeding ahead with all her might.
"Trailing closely behind Dice is- wait. Is that- Yes- yes, it is! It's JUNIOR (Horse #3), the youngest competitor this year, joining the race alongside his father, Rainbow! Junior shot so fast out of those gates we almost didn't recognize him, and in his first year competing, too! But it doesn't look like Junior is focusing on pulling ahead- it looks like he may be trying to pace himself to avoid burnout. Clever kid! I can't wait to see how he performs."
Junior is out of the gates shortly after Dice, and slowly but steadily works towards pulling ahead. He still has a bit of a gap to close before he could pass Dice, but Junior's heart thrums with determination. The heart of a racer.
"Running along still a ways behind Dice and Rainbow Junior, Rainbow Senior (Horse #2) and Roy G Biv (Horse #4) round the track neck and neck. Just when you think Senior's got Roy beat, Roy pulls on up again and manages to pass. But Rainbow Senior is no quitter, and he keeps pushing onwards, keeping the two fighting in a close tie for third."
Rainbow Senior and Roy G Biv run valiantly in a race keeping everyone on the edge of their seats! Shouts and money fly as betters vent their frustrations.

Thrilled horse race lovers cheer wildly from the stands as the battle rages on, each luciously maned beauty giving it their all. Dice remains in first for the beginning 10 laps of the race, but as soon as she rounds the curve for lap 11, Dice collapses!
"Oh NO! It looks like Dice is down for the count- we are now waiting on word from medical personnel to fill us in with what happened. She doesn't appear to be injured however, so that could be promising! ... This just in, Dice is out of the race! It looks like she wasn't well enough prepared for that heavy push she started out with. The burnout was too great, and she's had to withdraw from the race. This puts Rainbow Junior in the lead!!!"
Rainbow Junior holds strong through the next few laps, but his father, Rainbow Senior, has finally pulled past Roy and is starting to catch up!
"Here he comes folks, Rainbow Senior hot on Junior's tail. OHHHH AND LOOK AT THAT FLAWLESS TURN! THERE HE GOES- HE'S PASSING! HE'S PASSING!!!"
The crowd goes absolutely wild as Rainbow Senior pulls into the lead, thundering past his own son!
"Wait a second, what's that? This just in folks, a FIFTH CONTESTANT has signed up to join the race! That's right- you heard it here live! Horse #5 is leaving the gates now! With such a late start, will Taco (Horse #5) even stand a chance against her fierce competitors?"
It takes her a while, but Taco is one spicy momma, and sure enough, she manages to catch up to the other racers right around lap 13.
"HOLY SMOKES! Look at that girl run! Maybe she really will stand a chance in this race."
