I saw Raire's thread & thought I would also give this a go.

This is probably going to be image heavy, so be warned if you are viewing from a tablet or slow computer.

The point of this thread isn't to brag or make anyone else feel bad, it is simply to showcase my hoards. (And so I can easily keep track of them. I am notorious for being unorganized.)

I love snakes. And lizards. And reptiles in general.
Their name is that because they look like milk / coral snakes, but have legs.
When they were released, I thought 'Ooh, lizardy things. Could be cute.'
When they grew, I was blown away. I traded for a few ungrown ones and waited too see if I could easily get any more.
I must have sent out hundreds of trades on the hunt for these guys. That's how much I love them. <3

I am a Scorpio and I was born in the year of the Tiger, so these pets represent me in many ways.
They represent when I was born, my favourite colour (scarlet) and their names support my music taste.
I fell in love with them when they were pups, loving their colour-inverted, glowing stripes and their opalescent orange eyes.
Each one is named after a song by The Cure, The Smiths or Blondie that I like, and are usually dressed to suit the song.

All pets have, or will have, a tag after their name.
'The Cure' or 'TC' -> song by The Cure
'The Smiths' or 'TS' -> song by The Smiths
'Blondie' or 'B' -> song by Blondie
'Squeeze' or 'S' -> song by Squeeze
... -> first part of song title, it is too long for the whole thing to fit, eg: There Is A Light That Never Goes Out by The Smiths.
