What they look for in romance: Luke isn't looking for romance, and while he may be forced into a few blind dates, his heart is encased in ice so hard it's almost padlocked, and only he knows the code. It'll take an awful lot of warming up to get him to even like you, let alone get romantically involved with, well, anyone. Why? Because the truth is, Luke is scared to love. He is so used to being cruel, and cold-hearted, and merciless and all those other awful thing jewels whisper behind his back. He has long forgotten how to even be friends- the closest he has ever gotten is cohorts with other, equally bad dragons. To love for him is unimaginable. To love is almost a sin. But if Luke ever fell in love, it would be with some sexy bad-a** girl, like the kind you always see in movies. Beautiful, stunningly so, with a sharp brain and sharper tongue. Since he could fire all sorts of insults back- Luke is plenty experienced with cussing- he finds such a female rather attractive.

Weather ;; Luke has two types of weather he loves with a passion. The first is when the days are bleak and cold, and the sky is black, and thunder rolls and roars overhead so loudly you think the world could possibly end. When the lightning cracks the sky with blinding bolts of white, and flares the world even brighter than the noonday sun, and the wind rattles your window frames until they snap, driving the cold hard pellets of rain in with relentless force. The darkest and meanest of storms, the loudest and most terrifying time for most jewels- but Luke loves it. The second type would be early morning, predawn, when the sky is still damp and dreary and grey, and the fog rolls thick and grey over the land and swamps everything within ten feet. You can't see anything even faintly close to you- and this is the type of weather most commonly classified as zombie weather. In other words, awesomeness.

Secrets: There is, first and foremost, the secret that Luke has killed his father, his friends and familu. Everyone he ever cared about, gone, murdered by his own claws.

Why I want them: Oh, man, how can I possibly find the words? Well, I'll start with his design. Luke is, hands-down, in the top 4 most handsome males. (Along with Neptune, Icarus, and Ian. I know, I know, I have odd taste |D) I mean, sure, there are some really pretty females too (Mei, Faoran, Riassunto, the list goes on and on...) but they don't matter, because Luke is a male. I don't know what it is about him, really- I know a lot of people probably secretly want him for his hair, which really is super-awesome, but if it had to be removed (which I don't think should happen, seeing as he was a RU for an adopt with hair) I would love him all the same. His piercings, his crossed markings, his black coat with fiery crimson slashes like gaping wounds painted onto his fur. But his eyes are the most intriguing- why would such an icy-hearted, coldblooded killer have amber eyes? They aren't a fierce, glowing flame-red, boiling with rage in hate, nor are they soul-black, striking fear into the hearts of all who dare to look. No- instead, his eyes are a watm, rich golden-orange, a usually friendly color. This in itself is so interesting to me, and I'd love to develop that side of him; not so much a friendly side, but just why his eyes are the color they are.
For another, in Luke, I see a cohesive character. I see a dragon I don't yet know, like a blank map, but I know the details of the continents, and all that is left to do is draw them. It's the same with Luke- I do not yet have him developed, but I know what I want for him, his vicious, rogue future, and all I need to start drawing him out is ownership. That heartless, killer side of him will always remain, will always be dominant, but I'm curious to see the other parts of him- maybe less merciless sides. You see, what I'd truly like to do is roleplay him- when I roleplay, I don't really "control" my characters- I think, In this situation, what would they do?, and respond appropriately. In this way, I'd love to observe Luke's response to several different environments.
Also, Luke would be my first JMD. I've tried for 3 or 4 already, and have another in the process of judging that I might have a shot at, but Luke is the first that I've really, truly connected with, totally. I give full credit to Vapor and Zvar for their respective work with me on this form, and Zvar did create it, but I'm the one filling it out, and I'm trying so hard to get it all done in time. I know I've only got a few days left at this point, and I'm so against the clock, but I'm going to try. Because I've fallen in love with Luke, and seeing all these people around me getting their first JMDs- sure, it's a great thing, but it also just gives me this certai sadness I can't exactly describe. If I did win Luke...it would be a dream come true a thousand times over. He would be my first and only, for a while, and I promise with all my heart that I could cherish him forever. Owning a JMD would be a happiness I can't even describe.
What makes my form unique: Well, for one, I think some of the sections of my form are pretty uncommon. I put a lot of effort into my form, although that's not unique at all- I'm sure every single person who reserved a form for Luke put an incredible amount of hard work into their forms. He is a beautiful JMD- dark but beautiful- and I really tried to make it show. I thunk that my form is a bit different from other "bad guy" stereotypes, even the "bad guy striving for redemption" sort of forms, because Luke is, in my mind's eye, the exact opposite. He doesn't want redemption, not in the least. He is fine with who he is. Yes, sure, he went mentally insane- a killing machine- for quite a while. But in the mind of the chracter I wish to make him, he was okaywith that. He knows he can change, but he won't make the effort. And I find that quite a bit different than other, similar forms- not just for him, mind you- that I've read. I separated my sections in perhaps an odd way, but it really does actually fit the headers Zvar and I came up with.
So all in all, my form may not be the prettiest, or most impressive, but perhaps it's appealing enough to give me the edge. Maybe you like the range of info I have on him, all the art I paid for and collected, or maybe just the character I've made him into. I don't care; I just hope it's enough, is all, and I would be so happy if you found mine good enough to win. C:
