Bjarka was a gift from a kind user who asked to hear about users' recent forms of self-care. Bjarka reminds me that it's good to be kind to other people, but also kind to ourselves.

A simple story this time; I was looking for a pound pet one day near the closing of the pound, couldn't find anything I wanted, saw this little guy (I think he was WL/a missing outcome) who coincidentally had the name of one of my least favourite characters from the book series I've been reading (Thom Merrilin from The Wheel of Time).

Clicked him with the deepest sigh like "okaaaay, come on then..."

I named this pet after my IRL cat, Billie, who looked just like this. She was as cute as this, but deceptively adorable; she was absolutely deadly. If it moved, she could hunt it, or at least try to. I used to call her Kill Bill. Nevertheless, I tried to capture her cuteness in CS form:
