[center]Storm Mustang Rescue takes in any unwanted, realistic-looking horse and gives them a special place in our herds designed for each type of lineart. Horses are accepted into the Duskface Herd. They are never deleted, traded, retired or thrown away. These horses have a safe haven in the SMR. If they are adopted, their owners are updated as often as possible. The horses live active (virtual) lives, and sometimes are included in SMR stories. They are bred occasionally, usually raising several foals. When the time comes that a horse has been in the SMR for a year, they will be traded for free to a sponsor. If you donated a horse that is going to be traded to its sponsor, you will be immediately notified and you may assess the user who wants to adopt, if you want to approve their adoption. So basically, sponsors have dibs on their sponsored horse.
The Duskface Herd
Duskface

Duskface is relatively young for a leader, being less than a year old. However, he is a wise and brave leader. He has no mate, nor does he want one, but he would love nothing more than a foal.

Blaze

Blaze is also quite young, but he is ten days older than Duskface. Blaze is rather rash and charges into things, but he is loyal and brave. He has no mate, but he is hoping that Song will notice him.
Song

Song is actually quite a bit older than Blaze- she is about fifty days older than him, in fact. Song is gentle and forgiving; she has a bit of medicine training, which she excels at. She wouldn't tell him, but she actually likes Blaze very much.
Blue

Blue is Song's brother. He is a little introverted, preferring to not interact much with the other members of the Herd, but he has a common love for healing with his sister. Blue once had a mate, before coming to the shelter, but she was found and confirmed dead a week after Blue arrived. He would have no trouble finding a mate- he is rather handsome- but the trouble is getting past his old mate's death.
Skyshadow

Skyshadow is definitely past his prime. He is ready to be adopted any day now. Skye, as he is often called, is rather annoying to the members of the Herd, as he spends his time ranting on about how horses aren't like they used to be. He was a great fighter in his day, and he is Duskface and Blaze's father.
