✮⋆˚Welcome to my Special Collections and Dressups!˚⋆✮

This forum post is dedicated to documenting pets within my special collection and dressup groups! those are the groups I value the most out of my entire pet collection and as such I felt that they could benefit from having a proper forum post dedicated to the pets in those groups. There will be a table of contents below this linking to each particular group so if you're only interested in viewing a particular section it'll take you there!

In addition, I also have a page dedicated to all my "Off-Account" pet grabs during Dec 18th. If that interests you you can see my Off-Account Collection here!

✮⋆˚Special Collections˚⋆✮

The pets below are apart of my Special Collections category of pets! Essentially this means that the collections here are themed around a particular theme/topic along with showcasing the pets I like the most on CS. While some groups do have dressups not every group will; this mostly applies to groups with lots of pets. I will also be adding descriptions where possible to elaborate on why a particular pet is apart of that collection and/or any other info I find to be important.

The only group that is apart of my Special Collections category that isn't featured here is my Absolute Favorite group as it's far too large and would require far more frequent updates. You can find that group here!

✮⋆˚Dreamies˚⋆✮

Self explanatory! These are all the dreamies that I have currently obtained! They range in rarity but are still all pets that I really wanted and am very glad to have apart of my collection

Pet's name: Koyuki <3
The UR Kirin/Longma is my absolute favorite pet on the website. As soon as I made my WL when I first joined I knew I wanted them. I am very grateful to have them as a part of my collection. I went for a gold motif for the dressup, the butterfly wolves are included as my first pet on CS was a butterfly wolf and I felt like it would be a nice call back to that to show how far I’ve come

I wanted this pet in particular as it was the closest in appearance to my fursona! As soon as I saw a tan/brown oriental shorthair I knew what I had to do LOL. This particular dressup featured various elements related to myself/identity and sticks to my main aesthetics. This is probably one of my favorite dressups I've made

Pet's name: Rosemary
The Sunback is probably the one pet I now want the most. Out of the batch of pets released in 2008 it remains my favorite. When I saw there was a pet that shared the Sunback design but with an "older" appearance I wanted to have them and dress them up with all my Sunback items. Since then I've grown really fond of them. If I do ever get a Sunback I would probably name them after this pet too

Pet's name: Chinche
This particular staff pet is probably my favorite on the entire site. When I first got them I almost used them like a sona of sorts, nowadays they hold some of my favorite plush items on the site which I think is pretty fitting!

This particular rat holds a very special place in my heart. I had made mention in CSDS that my first ER pet was a rat and to stick with that pattern my first OMGSR probably would be a rat too! A very kind user, rats <3 (who is no longer on CS) decided to gift me this rat, I'm very glad to have them apart of my collection

My first ER pet, gifted to me by a quitting user! Gave them a Valentines themed dressup as they're a Valentines rat

Libra is my star sign! Gave them the Pink Tourmaline items as my birthday is in October

Gifted to me by the wonderful Tif + Jo for my first CS anniversary! Gave them a skiing themed dressup cause they're a husky

Gifted to me as a part of a song recommendations forum activity! No particular theme for this one other than sorta late 2000's nostalgia

I love the rendering on this pet so much. Wanted to keep with the aquatic theme but do something a little different so now they're my designated penguin holding pet

The manticores always have such a cool look to them so I wanted to stick with that kinda sinister vibe

My favorite of the adult griffins; Since they're based on a bearded vulture I stuck with a desert environment

A gift from Tif + Jo!! Wanted to keep with the same sort of vibes from the baby griffin for the dressup

Love this particular cat from the store set; gave them a fairly simple dressup for the time being!

I was really drawn to this design because it remined me of the Light Dragon from TOTK but they're definitely one of my favorite Eastern Dragon designs

My favorite of the alien dog stores; the color palate is so nice and I tried to stick with that along with the intergalactic theme for the dressup

This design in particular is so cool to me, didn't really know what to do dressup wise but I tried keeping to a similar style with the plants used here

Celestial pets are so cool to me and this is probably one of my favorites apart of that aesthetic

This was my favorite staff dog from the first year I was on the site! Wanted to lean into the skater aesthetic and went for a sort of 2000's inspired dressup for them

One of my favorite Bwolf designs, I love how regal and elegant it looks. Stuck with the sort of white/gold motif for their dressup

Such a unique design! I went for a Halloween-ish dressup mostly due to the orange color scheme present here

This particular alien cat is so cute I love everything about the design so I decided to lean into the alien vibes for their dressup

I am a sucker for nature inspired pets so I leaned into that fully for this staff dog

My absolute favorite draft horse design by far. I named them after a unicorn oc my best friend created around the same time and wanted to stick with the sort of medieval vibes

The design of this pet is so good I really love the addition of the moon and tree; wanted to give them a sort of graveyard look as a result

The combination of the very clean/regal elements of the castle plus the trees work so well here I love this design so much

Going for a narwhal inspired sea monster is really unique. Went for a sort of sunken ship vibe for the dressup as a result

As always I love warm nature inspired things and this store dog is no different; tried to go for a sort of formal garden inspired look for the dressup

This staff dog design still blows my mind it's so good. I decided to go for a sort of "center of the universe" approach for the dressup with all the planets in the solar system around them

These have to be my favorite species of caterpillars and this little guy is so cute if he wasn't a store pet I would hoard him. Gave him some more strawberries to fit with the one he's holding

I love Peewee.. The design of them is so cute and so whimsical it has consistently grown on me over the course of the Halloween event to the point that he is probably one of my favorite pets on the website, enough to wind up in my dreamie group

✮⋆˚Tess Guinea Pigs˚⋆✮

Currently I am trying to collect all Guinea Pigs and all Tess Guinea Pig! While my regular Guinea pigs are apart of my regular collection category I feel like the Tess Guinea Pigs deserve a spot of their own. I love them and their lineart so much theres just something about it that's so endearing to me. In addition, I am going for a food inspired motif for both the names and dressups for all the piggies here

This one is my favorite Tess Guinea Pig. I love the smile on it so much. as the name entails, he is egg themed. I named him Egg based on this one tumblr post I found funny about "my son egg and his brother cheese"

Here is Egg's brother, Cheese! Based on the same joke. They are inseparable

✮⋆˚Real Pets˚⋆✮

For a site all about collecting fake virtual pets I felt it would be nice to have a group that is dedicated to all my real pets I have or have had at one point in my life! I have organized it by pets currently in my life and pets who have since passed away

Pet's name: Rusty
My first dog who's still around! He was born in 2014 and is a Shorkie (Shih Tzu and Yorkie mix). While CS doesn't have a shorkie themed dog I went with the shih tzu inspired one as color wise he looks more like a shih tzu. all the items around him represent all the toys he has!

Pet's name: Lucky
Nicknamed "The humble nuclear bomb" and "The beast" he is both large but also only cares about affection and giving him attention. He was born in 2013 and is a Japanese Bobtail and American Shorthair mix! It was hard to find a pet that looks a lot like him because of his tail but this one is the closest. The various pillows are because he likes to sit on my bed and the water is because he really loves drinking cold water LOL

The orange one. He was born in 2013 as well and is far more energetic than Lucky still to this day. He mostly enjoys playing with various toy balls or his scratching pad and getting belly rubs. He is also very food motivated

Pet's name: Sweet Pea
She's the youngest out of all my cats and is assumed to have been born sometime around the start of 2024! She was found outside and since being introduced to the inside has grown very fond of finding comfy spots to nap in. She also really enjoys playing with various different mouse toys. This pet looks nearly identical to how she looks irl, chipped ear and all

Pet's name: Ralsei
The honorary diva. She was initially found outside at about 5 days old in mid 2021. It was a long process to take care of her but nowadays she usually spends time perched looking outside or playing with a variety of toys. She often carries them around in her mouth too. Perhaps it's because of how she was raised but she prefers the company of people over other cats

Pet's name: Lucy |🌈 7/13/18
She was found after a hurricane in mid 2017 but she was already fairly old (about 8-10 years old) and was dealing with a variety of health issues that resulted in her passing soon after. She was believed to likely be a German Shepard and Rottweiler mix. The various lambs around her are because the one toy she would always gravitate towards was a lamb

He was named after Tigger from Whinnie the Pooh. By the time I gained consciousness he was already fairly old but I do still have some fond memories of him. He lived to be about 18-20 years old. Would love to get some tiger items for his dressup someday

The pet I remember the least but most of my memories of him was that he would often spend time alone hiding in various rooms or objects (hence the box)

✮⋆˚Theriotypes˚⋆✮

I don't discuss being a therian very frequently but I am a therian! I won't be discussing that much here but I felt it would be fitting to have a group of pets for my theriotypes. I don't have very many but they are all a part of me

Pet's name: Malamute Wolfdog | Theriotype
My primary theriotype! This is the closest in appearance to the theriotype in question since the litter this dog is from is a litter of wolf-dogs. It was so nice to find a pet that looked so accurate to my theriotype!

Pet's name: Harbor Seal | Theriotype
Harbor Seals are one of my other theriotypes! I really like the tiny seal pet but I was so happy to see that there was a more realistic seal item too and used them both here

Domestic cats (particularly brown and white/cream) are also another one of my theriotypes. This cat is as close as possible to my theriotype in question in color and marking

I find it really fun that theres just a variety of pets that look like pets released during 2008-2009 but aren't and I figured it would be fun to make a group like that specifically for the dogs released back then with dogs that look fairly reminiscent of those past dogs

The next page features my dressup groups! These groups are dedicated to dressups with a variety of different themes and categories such as cosplay and events. In contrast to the Special Collections these groups are primarily focused on dressups specifically rather then the pet being dressed up (though that does still mater a bit here)
