What would be your dream Summer Event theme??

i like the japanese inspired requests! theres so much to work with, kawaii and other j-fashion, kaijus, yokai, traditional/ancient imagery, unique flora like cherry blossoms. yeah,,,,, thats fire

I would perish if we had an even based around the classic Greek mythology, it’s one of my favorite things!

Venturing through Mount Olympus, doing tasks for the gods and goddesses, collecting tokens (grapes/purple wine glass for Dionysus, owl coin for Athena, pomegranate for Persephone, peacock feather for Hera) and learning a story of times they’ve visited the human realm or how they missed certain things from those visits.(that’s where the token trade ins could go) and it would be a great place to include more cloud, gold, and magical themed pets and items.

For a second opening area it could be going down from Mount Olympus to visit the Cyclops forges for Hephaestus to trade the natural token items for crafted ones, (lightning bolt for Zeus, heart-shaped shield for Aphrodite, blue trident for Poseidon, and staff/winged hat for Hermes) except for Persephone’s pomegranate, which will be gotten to in the underworld. Aside from the trade in of natural items to crafted, there could also be other cyclops or places to adopt pets (another spot to sneak in a spot sprite themed pet mweheheheh >:3) such as lava pools, a pile of metal scraps or a weapons rack! This would be perfect for volcanic items, lava/flame pets, and pets with weapons or safety clothing(caterpillars on swords, bunnies with safety vests, fennecs with a face protector and a tool belt, etc)

The final place could be, as mentioned before, the underworld!! This would be where you trade in those precious pomegranates for garden items centered around pomegranates and dark flowers (absolutely love those royal red, magenta, dark blue, and deep black colors) as well as trade a few pomegranates in to Hades in exchange for Cerberus dogs (potentially pps ones :>). The whole place could maybe be pulled together if it’s a story of Persephone slowly sneaking her way from Olympus all the way back down to the underworld to be with Hades and bring winter to the world! (Both in and out of cs cuz it’s a summer event that ends near fall XD)

But that’s my two cents on a loose concept of what could be lol, I’ve been thinking about a Greek Myth themed event ever since finding out about the camping/cryptid event =w=

Okay but now I’m seeing this and I think Greek mythology would be my number one hahah yes!!!

polar event? like stuff that happens at the poles! mirror image aurora, the fauna of both locations and the research centers and seafaring vessels involved. as well as the mythos! id love to see indigenous rep too :)

An artic themed event would be fun! Like we are escaping the summer heat for the snow.

I'd love to see an event that incorporated miniatures somehow. Like, the regular adult linearts but shrunken down to be smaller. It would fit with a dollhouse or toy theme really well, or some sort of collectors theme.
Miniatures are a popular trend right now! And I adore them <3

Fantasy a folklore child be really cool. I'm also thinking of a way to include Alice in wonderland but I don't want to exclude anyone who doesn't know the story so maybe tying it into a bigger theme like that would be better! You could go really global with the tales and it doesn't have to be similar to fae mischief at all

possibly a literary themed event where you find book pages and have to read them? not like Slenderman LOl

Someone said folklore, and that makes me think tall tales and folktales~ Like Paul Bunyan and Aesop's fables and stuff, and every culture has stories like that so I think it could work well. I think a pizza arcade/animatronic restaurant theme could be fun too~
