Way back in 2011, CS started a new yearly tradition - releasing pets in January/February to celebrate Chinese New Year. I instantly fell in love with these pets, and just couldn't stop trading for them. So, my first hoard was born.
I had no idea I'd still be collecting them 10 years later.
And what a 10 years it has been.
During that time, I earned a college degree, survived a nasty mental health crisis, worked in healthcare during a pandemic, and many other things.
I was incredibly fortunate to spend 4 of those years living in China. Celebrating Chinese New Year and Spring Festival with wonderful people in the region of the holiday's origin - just incredible.
At some point, I did manage to set a goal for my hoard - 40,000 pets.
And today, I am finally less than 1,000 900 800700500

I guess I just wanted to make a post to mark a milestone on a little corner of the internet that has been home for me through all that.
The generosity of CS's users has always warmed my heart, thousands of the pets have been gifts and very one-sided or fair trades.
Thank you to everyone who has traded and gifted me over the years!
You have made me smile through many difficult days!
Who would have an adoptable pixel site with a weird name could get me to write a post like this, but here we are, lol.
