Just curious... when did the rest of you turn to Wicca? What age? Just wondering~

I converted from christianity to wicca just last year ^^

Dunno, I guess I never really followed a religion, and I guess Pagan is just an outline of what I follow/feel. I guess the main change was maybe a few months ago, when I went to a Faerie Fayre in Glastonbury (England) and went round all the shops in the town and saw all the things my Mum sorta follows (along with Buddhism) and I guess as I'm so similar to my Mum, it just sorta happened.
I knew I would probably follow on eventually as the Mother Goddess is the one I believed in since forever.

I will say again, Paganism is just an outline of what I do, I do some of it, and other bits I feel are right.

I have a question, seen as I've recently(ish) turned Wiccan and I feel my Dad (who I live with) has a right to know. BUT, he (and his parents) are strong Catholics so I don't know what to do. No one in my house actually knows as of yet, as I only do tiny, un-noticable things that don't get questioned/noticed.
How can I tell them easily for me as I'm terrible at explaining things?

Ah.. I have the same problem but my parents are die hard baptists its sad i want to tell them so bad but i have a fear that they might put me in foster care if i do... the best thing to do is to be honest because most likely they'll find out anyways.

As the saying goes-- wait until you feel it's safe to come out of the broomcloset. My family is religious, and I didn't really say it-- the books I left lying around dId that for me.
