Please keep in mind that this is a massive thread. It can grow up to twenty posts per night while you're gone, and you may have to search through those posts to make sure people weren't up to no good while you were away. There are over one hundred members, so there is bound to be the occasional drama. You have to know how to sort that out so everyone is happy (but sometimes you can't do that, so you have to know how to keep the most happy as possible) with the resolution. You also have to know how keep things bright, though, too (: Don't make things more dramatic than they need to be, keep people laughing and smiling whenever they see you post, you know. Threads like this need good leaders, and that's what I'm looking for. So if you're up for this, go ahead and shoot me a PM explaining why you want to apply and stuff. (Tip: Don't be modest. Go all out and brag. Screenshot people gushing over how amaaaazzinnggg you are and how you should toootally do this. Link to things you've already done. Stuff like that xD)
I'm going to take this seriously though. I might not even choose someone. I don't want this place to disappear because it fell apart from some lame fight that was poorly dealt with. I want it to go one for as long as it can until CS explodes from it's awesomeness 8D
Also guys, please don't try to persuade me to stay. I'm deleting my account on the thirteenth, so there's reduced temptation to come back. I'm leaving because CS has just become stressful to me and there's just becoming fewer and fewer reasons to stick around. Hello, and welcome to the WGI. Also called the WGC and associated with the previous WDC { although the inspiration of this thread is property to the creator of the WDC, Kyoshi-Yan }, this place has many names. Anyway, since the old thread was getting too full, and for embarrassing reasons, we now have a new thread! Welcome! Here, we give one another pets. How do you get pets? Join, then give pets to other users. After that, they'll give you some right back! It's a win-win, you feel good for giving, and you get thanked with pets in return! But remember, this is not a wishing well, don't just come in and post something like, "i want dis pet plz". That will get you warned and someday blacklisted if you keep it up.
Rules
~ Do not beg for pets or whine that you haven't gotten anything. This is actually against official CS rules, and could get you banned.
~ Asking for particular pets is aloud to a point. If you have given pets already, it's fine. If you've just joined, it should already be in your form!
~ Complaints about being mistreated by other members come straight to me or other online WGI mods through PM, not the thread.
~ ABOUT SPAM: [ MUST READ, NO EXCUSES ]
- - Avoid spam (meaning anything not related to trading/giving pets, but on the very rare occasion this has an exception). Chat is taken to the chat box OR the other chat box. You may say things off-topic only if there is something on-topic in your post. Make your posts worthwhile for EVERYONE here to read.
- Just posting "checking wishlists" and "sending wishies" is considered spam to the CS mods. Posting "sent ___ wishlists to ___" is fine, and is considered the standard post here.
- To not be considered spam, a post must have a minimum of 5-10 words.
- Don't repost or quote your form [ see bottom of rules to read more ]
~ Fighting is not acceptable. Becoming involved, even if you aren't the ones fighting, is still making you a part of it, and might get you banned. Actually being a person fighting is a one way ticket to getting banned. Only staff get involved.
~ Chat-speak can get annoying. If you can read this, you could at least try at writing like this.
~ Don't dare backtalk to a staff member. That will most definitely get you blacklisted. Although, proving you're innocent and shouldn't be warned [this does not mean whining/making pathetic excuses, and if you're being blacklisted don't even consider posting again] can be tolerated on occasion.
~ Use common sense.
~ Leave keeping other members in check to the staff. They're here for a reason. If you aren't a mod, the only form of "modding" you really can do is PMing me or another WGI mod complaining about said user. If you are complaining for a stupid reason, you risk a warning if you do it too many times.
~ Breaking any of these rules may result in you being blacklisted. Less serious ones give you a "three strikes and you're out" chance.
