Q: What is a silkie?
A:

The Silkie (also known as the Silky or Chinese silk chicken) is a breed of chicken named for its atypically fluffy plumage, which is said to feel like silk and satin. The breed has several other unusual qualities, such as black skin and bones, blue earlobes, and five toes on each foot, whereas most chickens only have four.

Q: Can they be kept as pets?
A: Yes! They are quite friendly and make good pets, but if you are going to have them as a pet, you shouldn't have a rooster unless you live in the countryside or where not many people live or if the rooster is going to be quiet

Q: Are they aggressive?
A: It really depends! Most roosters are fairly aggressive (as in immediately flying at you whenever) but the one I know only really attacks you if you grab him or are wearing bright colors. Though all is forgiven with some mushed-up strawberry!

Q: What is their favorite food?
A: I believe it is strawberry!
