If you have signed up, please read the entire thread before posting your letter! If you haven't signed up, sorry - registration has closed and you will have to wait until next year.
This thread will act as an archive for all Secret Santa letters pertaining to the Secret Santa event. Letters to Santa act exactly how they do in real life! They are Christmas wishlists addressed to your (anonymous) Secret Santa to help them gift you what you might want. Everyone who has signed up to take part in the Secret Santa event may reply to this thread detailing everything they would like for Christmas from their Santa.
If you're looking for your assigned person's letter, please check the Archive section at the bottom of the thread for the list of users who have posted their letter. If your assigned person hasn't posted a letter but you'd like to ask if they could, PM your Little Elf to have them ask your assigned person to write a letter.
NEW - Please read the new DOs and DONTs below and edit your letters accordingly.
If your letter has not been edited in accordance to these rules, you will be PM'd asking to edit them within the next few days or so.

- You are asking to receive a gift from someone, so it would be rather rude to demand certain things, especially if those things were expensive and rare! Please remember to say please and thank you.
- Please use the form to write your letter.
- It makes it easier to sort for my sake on keeping the archive updated. Thank you!
- NEW Don't only ask for list pets or high demand pets (eg. Shima, May Lioness)!
- This is highly constraining on your Secret Santa and not everybody can afford to gift list pets. It puts a lot of pressure on your Secret Santa. It's fine to ask for list pets, just include some cheaper or easier to obtain pets too so that your Santa isn't under pressure to gift you the ONLY thing you want.

Do...
- Ask for pets that are -
hoards, on your WL; your dream pets; rarer pets!
- Ask for items or C$
- Ask for art of characters/pets/etc
- Ask for off-site items - eg. FR, Aywas
Note - your Santa may not use these platforms!
- Be respectful! Say please and thanks.
- NEW Ask for a wide, wide variety of things! Ask for "stocking fillers"! This makes it a lot easier for your Secret Santa to choose a lot of different things, cheaper or more expensive and makes it more likely you'll get some things you want for Christmas.
If you only put a few, expensive pets or items on your wish-list, it is highly unlikely that your Secret Santa can afford just those things or you might end up with only 1 or 2 things for Christmas as you've only asked for big presents!

Secret Santa is about the thought and effort behind getting a Christmas gift! It is absolutely not necessarily about knocking off a high-demand or hard to achieve dream pet off your list. You may ask for hard to get pets, but please don't make it the majority or all of your list. That's unfair on your Secret Santa.

- Demand, especially expensive/rare requests!
- Be vague, if possible.
- Only ask for expensive things!
- Declare who you are SS for.
- NEW - Only ask for expensive pets (rare+/2012 or older).
Unfortunately, not everyone can afford list pets or 2008/09 rares and store pets
and are stuck on what to get people for Christmas. To ensure you receive something,
try to include hoard pets, common WL pets, etc or easier things to get like art!
