here there will be another list of staff & artists incase you need to talk to one here.

this is a good place to discuss things happening at the main thread for alkoli mustangs. you may discuss events, suggest them (this would be a big help) and post fan art or any art you want to put forth to alkoli ^~^ we would prefer that you hold off on this until most of the artists have made their staff horses.

please dont let this get super spammy, but also be sure to have fun ^~^ there will occasionally be polls posted here involving events, so be sure to check back often!

Basic Event Idea

I've done some thinking and got an idea for a possible event!

It's very simple and could be done for many events with different themes.

Here it is (in a nutshell):
Our artists (and possibly some guest artists) will be creating a design on an item (my inspo for this was a scroll) and will also design a horse based on the design of the scroll. there will be a lineart supplied as a new layer to place overtop of the horse so that the horse cannot be seen until the scroll is redeemed.

How will you get a scroll (or whatever item it may be)?:
There will be a list of players recruited by the artists to be our "deliverers.". These users will use a number generator to choose who they will send a scroll to. Only the artists will know who the delivery players are, and this will be set up like that so that players cant recreate a PM to try to cheat and redeem a scroll.

How will you redeem one?:
If you are sent a PM containing a scroll, you MUST quote the PM and post it on the page of the adopt matching the scroll you recieved. The artist of the scroll will verify that your scroll is valid & from one of the secret deliverers, and then will reveal your horse!

How will you know if its a true scroll from a secreg deliverer?:
People in the event wont know until they go to redeem the scroll. The deliverer MUST pm Myself and the Artist of the scroll they are delivering letting us know which scroll they are delivering, and to whom it is being delivered. This way, it isnt public of who's going to definitely recieve a scroll, or who the deliverers are, so that players cant create a fake Scroll delivery PM to get a horse.


I feel as though this event would be very interactive to those who enter, and will draw more new people to our community! I'd love some theme ideas that could use this idea (like the scrolls could go with some type of egyptian event maybe?). I'd also love to see some ways Pride Month could be incorporated into this!

Suggested THEMES To Use w/ Event

• Beach Themed ~ Item could be: BeachBall, Beach Towel (???) or some type of toy
• Winter themed! Alkoli are australian based and its currently winter there ~ Item Could Be: ???



**this will be modified each time a new theme is suggested, and after that, members will be allowed to vote to decide which theme to use for this event!

ATTENTION TO ALL IN THE ALKOLI COMMUNITY!
Some big (well technically, they're pretty dang little c: ) changes are coming to alkoli mustangs here soon!
As you may have seen on the main thread, our line artist Airashi has added us to her commissions list to do our foal lines!
We will have a completely seperate nursery to keep it flowing with the same things, which will be linked on the main page and will have a similar set up to that of the current Alkoli page!

Lots of new information will be coming to Alkoli regarding the nursery & breedings, so keep an eye out!

the event cover is completed but not posted yet, as line edits details and item details are still being worked out!

i have an idea of how to make the event a little better and help it run smoothly.

i think the raffles should take place on the boxes page and not the main one, because it can cause clutter and it'll help keep tenturo from doing all the work for the event (besides the artists making the designs of course)

I actually suggested that the raffles take place on the main page cx but that does work if the other artists would rather do it that way? I just thought it'd be fun to do them one at a time instead of just boom, everything is raffled off kinda as soon as its up? That way nothing goes unnoticed.
