You do not need to own a Dogon in order to join as we welcome all!

What are Dogons?
The Dogon is a species as old as time, with first written history of them in ancient Greece. They were seen living on the outskirts of the cities, foraging inside on the streets but mostly hunting for themselves. The people of Greece soon discovered the existence of these creatures and rather than enjoy them, they decided to hunt them for exotic dishes, to use the scales in jewelry and as alluring pets. The Dogons had to scatter as a response in order to ensure their survival. They fled to the tallest mountains and some even dove underwater in search of a safe place to live. Some Dogons have begun to trust humans once more and some of them even willingly put themselves into their care. Now the humans are attempting to win back the trust of these beautiful creatures. While they may look unnerving with their dragon side they are really just big cuddlers and are more like a dog in that way.
They can be found and adopted out here.
Dogons are a closed species and may not be created by those not approved by the owner of the species.

Rules:

This fanclub was created in order to connect people within the Dogon community together and may be used to:
-Talk about the species and throw in your own ideas about what the species should include
-Get to know each other and create relationships between each other's Dogons
-Search for a Mate for your Dogon
-To discuss current questions put forth by the owner and artists of the species
-Ask questions and get answers from other Dogon owners

You may not:
-Complain about not getting a specific Dogon
-Use foul language, all language must be kid appropriate
-Readopt your Dogons here (they must be given back to the owner of the species to be readopted or gifted with permission from the owner of the species)
-Get far off topic from the Dogons or advertise other species here unless permitted by the owner of the species

Hey Dogon fans! I am currently looking for art for the species and so I am reaching out to all of you! I am looking for everything from Stamps to Banners to images of our mascot and giftlines! I would love it if you guys would contribute or at least try your best! I am also opening up the option to submit artwork done of your Dogons in specific and they could be featured here! at least for a short time! Message me if you are interested or you want to submit something!

maybe more edtis? like fangs, different types of wings, fangs, eye edits like colored sclera, different pupil shapes?

I also wanted to show off my first Dogon Pyres! I just love how his purple eyes stand out agents his pallet

I am so glad you like Pyres! We are slowly adding more line edits as we go but currently do have long teeth, colored sclera and I will be sure to add in more types of wings (once I figure it out myself) But the pupil shape is interesting and I will definately look into adding new ones! Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you! I am trying to get them seen by more people cause I feel like lots of people would probably enjoy them but I can only do so much. I am trying to make a stamp myself and then getting plenty of adopts out. I make sure to do at least 1 adopt every day so that everyone has a chance to get them!
