As we continue down the road towards opening Flight Rising's new player registration permanently, we wanted to start cementing in registration windows for future months. Beginning on October 9 at 02:00 Server Time, Flight Rising's registration system will be open for one full week each month. Welcome Weeks will always start on the second Sunday of each month.

For periods of time when registration is closed, we will make sure that anyone who clicks the "Sign Up!" button is redirected to a page that contains information about our Welcome Weeks as well as when the next scheduled window is occurring.

We plan to continue the Welcome Week campaign indefinitely as long as site stability remains healthy. As with everything else, we will make sure to notify you if there are any changes to this format.

As we mentioned above, Flight Rising's first Welcome Week will run:
October 9th 02:00 to October 16th 02:00

Attention Chat Users

It has recently come to my attention that there have been users PMing chat users asking them to buy dragons or to buy cs pets from them.

This is in no way shape or form ok. this is Soliciting sales and in the view of this chat, it is begging as the person who pm's is essentially begging you to buy from them.

I do understand that this happens every so often out of random, but being messaged quite a few times in three days that this is happening to users of the chat, by our very own chat users, is very disappointing. I am not happy with this as an action going on.

Personally i have received one such message in the past month and i urge the users who receive unwarranted and out of place messages to buy another users things to do this.

-Do not reply to their message.
-Report the pm as harassment or advertising.
-let any Fr chat mod know that you have received a message and please let us know who is doing it.

We are starting a new system where posts are tagged so that users can search them, we will not be forcing anyone who does not want to tag a post to tag it, but it will add to organization to the posts.

If you are warned you MUST reply or EDIT your post.
This is an absolute must.

1: Do not under any circumstances use a font larger than 130.
Only mods may use this for ANNOUNCEMENTS. Anything else is not allowed.

2: Do not post more than 5 full-size dragons.
Please respect this, we've had multiple complaints from people about this.

3: No Bullying!
Includes but is not limited to; laughing at mods when they PM you, calling names, insulting, demeaning or putting down someone's project/dragon/art/idea, etc.

4: Re-post SALES after 10 pages.
Kelly posted her sales on page 300, Kelly must wait until page 310 before she may post it again.
Kelly posts a sale on page 300, and posts a different sale on page 304. Kelly is breaking this rule.

5: Do not bash artwork of any kind.
Putting down anyone's artwork is not allowed.
Be respectful of what other people put their time into.
~This is included in the bullying rule but art is especially personal and deserved its own rule.

6: Do not Spam.
"lol", "what?", "This!" are considered spam; along with excessive meme's and just posting currency amounts.
Please actually contribute to conversations.

7: Giveaways/questions/etc may be re-posted every 5 pages.
Mark posted his question on page 100, he may post it again on page 105.

8: Do not post glitches or tell others how to do them.
This is a bannable offense. Do not do it.

9: Limit thumbnails(small images) to no more then 10 per post.
Not limited to individual images and includes single screenshots hosting more than 10 small images.

10: Loopholes are not allowed.
Editing your original post to "x" or a question so you may post sooner is not allowed.

11: Do not quote raffles you don't own!
Unless you are the raffle owner, do not quote them.

12: No begging.
This includes passive aggressive methods and guilting.
I only have 4k treasure! I wish I had more!

13: Do not pm chat users to solicit sale.
This means do not pm users asking them to buy dragons when they have expressed no prior interest in your sales

Loaning Etiquette

What is loaning?

Loaning is when someone gives a dragon or item to be used by another user with the intent of getting it back in the same condition that the it left in.
It can be for a breeding pair, coliseum battles, scroll previews, apparel testing, and more.

What is NOT Tolerated in loaning
(Without the other users prior consent):
- Breeding of another users dragon
- Selling the Item or dragon
- Exalting a dragon
- Renaming a dragon
- Lending a dragon/item you have received from another user
- Changing a dragons stat's in any form(includes tincturing, adding skill points, and altering battlestones)
- Using a borrowed scroll
- Refusing to return the dragon/item back to the original owner
- Changing the genes
- Scatterscrolling a dragon

What is OK in loaning
(No consent needed):
-Putting a familiar on the dragon
-Dressing the dragon
-Feeding the dragon
-Moving them in your lair arrangement

Loaning rules:

- No loans over 150k may be asked for on the thread
- You may not re-post loan requests until ten pages have
passed since your original request
- You may NOT include other offers for loans.**
- You MUST pay off any previous loans before asking for a new loan
- You may not ask for loans for lair expansions passing 100k in value. If you need space immediately,
please ask someone to hold your dragons.
- You may only receive a loan once every 3 days.
- Players may ask for interest on loans if they wish. But this must be stated up
front and agreed upon.

** ex: "Could someone loan me 50k? I can offer cs pets/items/fr stuff/etc." This is counted as a sale. Loans are to be straight currency swaps. You get 50k from someone, you send them 50k back.

CS to FR Conversion guide

17.7C$ = 1 USD = 104.2 Gems = 41600 Treasure
> 1 Gem = 650-675 Treasure
>> 1 C$ = 5.9 Gems

I have noticed on quite a few other websites (including FR!!!) That people are claiming that the 5.9 ratio is out of date and 6 is more accurate. It is not! The reason why being that the price for C$ nor the price of gems have changed, therefore there is no reason for the ratio to change.

If you see anyone claiming 5.9 is wrong, please say something-while it wouldn't affect recent pets too terribly much for List pets it would. I did the math just to see how much it would affect it and you could be paying 100k+ treasure extra or dozens and dozens more gems than you should be, especially for Main List pets.

Step 1: Find out what the average gem price is. For this example I chose 400/1.

Step 2: Locate the pet you are selling/buying on the C$ list. Find how much C$ it's worth. I'll be using one '09 rare for this example, worth 25C$.

Step 3: Calculate!
25C$ x 5.9Gems = 147.5 Gems.
You now know that 25C$ is worth 147.5 gems. Use the gem value and simple calculate how much Treasure those gems are worth.

147.5G x 400T = 59,000T

Pick an average, a high end or a low end, all depending on how much you personally value the pet and how much your partner values it! Keep demand in mind as well. Is yer pet in high demand? It's best to ask a high-ish value. The rareslist takes demand into account, do not reapply demand. This high demand thing only counts for pets not on the list.

At a rate of 1 gem equaling 350T:

1C$ = 5.9G
5.9G x 350T = 2,065T
1C$ = 2,065T

At a rate of 1 gem equaling 375T:

1C$ = 5.9G
5.9G x 375T = 2,212.5T
1C$ = 2,212.5T

At a rate of 1 gem equaling 400T:

1C$ = 5.9G
5.9G x 400T = 2,360T
1C$ = 2,360T

*This is meant to be a guide and in no way shape or form a set standard for trading. The numbers used in this are the average of 5 USD, 10 USD and 20 USD.

Which place is best to battle? D;

It depends on the level of your dragons, I personally am in the Arena as I'm most comfortable with the enemies there and I still need familiars from there.


if you are looking for event tokens use this Element chart It shows the likely hood of in countering a monster of that element for example 9% of the time means 9/100 monsters will be that element

Is there an Imperial breed change scroll?

Used to be, not too sure anymore, if you ever find someone with one for sale, youll have to pay a lot (last one glimpsed on the thread was going for 500k gems in an auction.)

It Is an exclusive scroll given to kick starters, and is no longer available in game save for the rare auctions

How do I get event tokens?

By using your gathering turns in the Event flights element or from monster drops in the coliseum, chests can be found the same way (chests are Digging only, or from the coli)

If I breed change/ Scroll of maturity a dragon does it loose its breeding cooldown

No, Breed changed dragons will keep their cooldown (Imp with 29 days to tundra = 29 day breeding cooldown) and so will dragons scrolled for maturity. After they breed their cooldown becomes the same amount as the breed they currently are. (the imperial you scrolled to a tundra now has a tundras breeding cooldown once the original cooldown is up.)

If I give my dragon a skin/accent, will it become permanently attached to that dragon? Will it have any effect on offspring?

nope! You can apply them and remove them at any time. Skins also will have no effect on your hatchlings, as they merely alter the appearance of your adult dragon. it does not alter the genes or colors your dragons have.

Dom Rewards

The realm is embroiled in a perpetual conflict called Dominance.

Dominance is determined by a flight's dedication to exalting dragons. These dragons leave their home lairs to forever serve under their elemental deity, using their combined power to help combat the other flights, as well as the newly-emboldened Beastclan hordes.

Each Saturday, the top three flights with the highest ratio of exaltations will receive special bonuses for the following week. Beware, however: If the Beastclans secure one of the three top slots, no flight will receive that slot's bonuses.
