What is HARPG?

HARPG, or Horse Art Roleplay Game is an art based roleplay where you can run your own virtual stables and compete your horses in shows! You roleplay your stables and draw to develop and show your horses. Anyone with any level of art skill can join!

How do I join HARPG?

Easy! You just need to obtain or create a horse and your stable where your horse will live. Your horse can be whatever you want, fantasy or realistic! It helps to have a reference that has basic information about your horse. There are many user-made breeds on DA that you can purchase.

How do I join this club?

Just fill out the form in the post below and you'll be accepted into the club! You should at least own a horse or a stable and be moderately active in the HARPG community, here on CS or DA.

How do I get a horse?
Here on CS there are many stables from which you can aquire a horse for free. Check the horse directory below for more details! If you know a thing about horses, you can create one yourself! Not up to drawing a horse? DA has many free linearts avaliable for you! If you have the resources, DA has many user-made breeds which are regularly sold. Many users create their own adopts for very cheap prices.

How do I roleplay with my horse?
By drawing them training with its rider (jumping, hacking, in the arena, giving riding lessons etc), or just in its paddock, writing a story about their adventures, or competing in shows!

Horse Breeds on CS:

Westrossa Mustangs

Westrossa Mustangs are a variety of mustang that have been encountered on an island off the coast of north west North America. These hardy horses were found in a state of over population, and because of such, are now being adopted out into the world. They closely resemble mustangs in build and appearance, but because of the temperament of the island they came from they are resistant to cold and have higher stamina and speed then normal mustangs.

Khimaira Friesians

Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.
