Welcome to v. 12 of the
orb cat fanclub. I'd like to
formally introduce myself
as Ymir. A long time artist
of orb cays and a well
known community member.
Orb Cats have went
through some tough times
recently and it's amazing
to see everything running
again. Here at Orb Cats
we maintain a healthy and
SAFE environment for
users of all ages. We as
members post on this
thread as a family in
agreement to the rules.
By entering this little
thread you are committing
yourself to upholding
the fair and justifies rules
set before entering.
If you are to break any
set rule, new or old,
you are subjected to a
fair punishment, big
or small. I would prefer
to keep this thread as
professional, as well as
individually personal
as possible to not only
upon the Terms of
Service/User Agreement of
the Chicken Smoothie
website, but as an
individual community
within it.
❧ Do not Spam: Spamming is our
no. 1 problem as a species comm-
nity and I hope to work on weeding
out this problem. Spamming inclu-
des but is NOT limited to: Double
posting, off topic conversation,
posts consisting of less than a
sentence of text content, posts
talking about "in real life" agenda
or "what happened today" posts,
one worded posts, etc.
❧ Do not bad mouth period: Wh-
ether this would be subjected to
trashing the species, users that
inhabit it, or users outside of the
community, AND negativity against
one another is uncalled for and will
be taken care of individually once
reported.
❧ Art Theft: Stealing another pe-
rson's art, orb cats, etc. from here
OR offsite will NOT be tolerated.
If you post references for whatever
please source your content as to
reduce your chances of getting in
trouble with the mods. This is for
your own safety here on CS.
❧ No Personal Information: This
can range from age, date of birth,
email, living establishment, envi-
orment, or current happenings in
your life. You may post about
mental states of condition as long
as things lead INTO orb cat related
stuff, but if, in the end, you're just
looking for help from friends,
please, there are other threads for
this and you can message me or
another user for immediate help and/
or advise.
❧ No drama: If drama is started by
someone else it is advised to STAY
OUT OF IT. I am aware that you
may be friends with someone inv-
olved and want to back them up,
however in the end it just amps
up the problem. Leave all trouble
makers to me and whoever is
involved. If you are needed I will
ask you, but otherwise. Do not.
❧ No whining or complaining:
If you lost a competition, missed a
FCFS, or didn't get the orb cat you
wanted, please, please, PLEASE
refrain from posting your disapo-
intment. This includes all forms of
it including but not limited to:
"Dang I missed all those fcfs, I'm
never on," "Wow. That's a lot of
FCFS," "Man I really liked that orbie,
oh well!," etc.
❧ Do not off orbie advertise: You
may advertise art sales, JMs, and
other ORB CAT related things but
please do not advertise another
species or something like that.
Read this fanclub's title. The topic
says it all.
❧ Reply to at least ONE person
before posting: This is a new rule
and possibly the hardest to break in.
From here on out every user is now
REQUIRED to reply to at least one
person who posted before you. This
reduces the chance of someone
being ignored when they really need
some help. It also ties us together
and helps break down barriers and
become a safe and happy commu-
nity based family.
❧ Do not roleplay as your orbie here:
This is a community, not a roleplay
board. There will be plenty of those
eventually. You may introduce a orb
cat WITH a quote from it, but this is
the only leniency.
❧ I have the right to add and remove
rules, whether you follow theses are up
to you, but failure to uphold the fore-
posted guidelines will result in tallies
against your name and, if pushed
future, the possibility of getting banned.
