I mean I literally feel the same about any sports anime. To help myself get past it, I usually just try to play recreationally when I have get togethers with friends. Like at the beach or at just a random court or in the park. I wanted to join my team back in high school, but we have 23 state championships straight and like- there's no way I could ever measure up to their abilities and the bond they had, so I feel you strongly on that one, although it's more like the team was too tight knit for me to get in it even if I did manage to make the team. I never bothered trying out.

EDIT: on another note, would any of you happen to have art suggestions? I'm working on filling up sketchbooks. I realized just now I have virtually no haikyuu!! in any of the ones I've already filled up, save for a stray Oikawa here and there. Of course I'll draw pretty much anything in the realm of appropriateness so it can range from X character playing volleyball, to X character wearing X outfit or doing X activity.

@pidgey idk about where you live but nearly every girl at my school is brutal, and they literally all talk behind eachothers backs, I've overheard little petty popular girls talking some real bad stuff about some girl they constantly post pics with and call their best friend, but we don't do championships (Maybe we do? I don't think so unless we do really well in the season idk) and everyone on the team I was on last year (middle school team) was kinda friends but then right after volleyball never spoke again, you know? and I get that same feel with the team this year, that they all just kind of hate eachother. Idk. Maybe just me. and amoung the 2 schools that combined to form my highschool, it's been 3 months and i'm still only friends with people I knew last year. My school isn't very friendly in general, but I jusT want a team thats passionate and willing to spend time on me like karasuno did for hinata and kags, y'know? idk maybe just me, but generally every female i've met here is hostile and mean )):

Also, maybe do some tendou? I have lots of newfound love for him <33 maybe him and bokuto side by side? Their hair is too good oh man

don't fret guys!! with how popular haikyuu is, I'm certain there's
gonna be another season!! furudate has been introducing a whole
bunch of new characters in the manga too so if you haven't read
it yet, you definitely should!! especially since there have been
quite a few things left out of the anime this season

@Tendou - I'm not so sure about a fourth season, especially because this one is so short, but if we look at other typical sports animes, the pattern appears to be 3 seasons and a movie (or two). Maybe we'll get a movie! I know in the manga there's a good game that'll make the movie that didn't quite make it in this season ;3.

@Implosion - Yep! I can certainly draw that. I'll have more free time to do it now since finals are d o n e.

@candystars - I never said they weren't brutal lol, in-crowd high school girls rarely aren't. They just weren't brutal at each other. Everyone else was just like dust which is why it was so hard to try out. I do not miss high school. Nope nope nope. Not one bit! Unfortunately high school isn't the best environment to find exactly that in unless you're at a crazy friendly school. But there are ways to find people that will take the time on you like that. They're there just difficult to find. Not impossible. But difficult!
