I had only two stallions, I was determined to get an almost even number! I got two mares and 1 stallion... I failed.

A lot of you guys pair your tolts up right away, some (like me) wait until everything's sorted out, and then possibly pair up. So I'm rather curious about those folk who automatically lock down their horses into a relationship, and how they do their thing. :B

In what ways does having a mate for your Tolters assist in developing them?

Usually I decide if I tolt will have a mate the day I bring him or her home to my stable and I find it's easier for me to try to find them a mate right away that way I can lock down slots with the mate and then keep or open the rest for everyone else so I'm not constantly worrying if I will have a breeding planned for so many slots or not. Ever since I updated to my newest stable layout I stopped giving my tolters personalities because I didn't have the motivation or enough time to sit down and write one out and I never had any place to put them. When I find my babe mates it helps me start getting traits or ideas that I would like them to have in their personality so when I do write one out I can add the traits I want and also add things that benefit both the tolt and its mate. In finding a mate right away it just personally helps me better connect with all my babes.
