I can be any of the colors of the rainbow, sometimes all of them. I am short and I am long, I am thick and I am thin. I often rest curled up. I can eat 100 sheep and still be hungry. What am I?

I have decided tomorrow will be the last day for riddles and raffles. Yes I will do some raffles tomorrow. Prolly around like five raffles.
