Am I the only person who hates Derpy Hooves?
She makes fun of handicapped children.
The word "Derp" Is made by Two guys acting like handicapped kids. I have a handicapped brother. This character offends me, and being om A CHILDRENS SHOW makes it worse. I almost started hating the show because of it.
{Handicapped means children who have disabilities - born that way, they cant talk, have a bad ear, ect. }

I tried this just out of curiosity.
Nightmare Moon
Quick Thinking and fierce Nightmare makes a decent villain. She was imprisoned on the moon by her sister because of a little jealousy and then she came back to try and make night time eternal. Although she seemed mean, on the inside she was a kind loving princess.

(Pardon the re-post- this thread is going real fast and i kinda want an answer to this)
A little off topic but:
Does anyone have tips on how to draw all the MLP:FIM characters- not just the ponies- so i know how to draw both the MLP:FIM heroes and villains? I have a scene i would like to draw with my OC but i cannot figure out how to draw a cartoon pony or dragon, rather than a realistic one...
Thanks!

Well, how I learned to draw MLP was literally tracing pictures from the show, then later adding a bit of my own style(very little bit ^^"). Maybe you can try that with some of the non-pony characters?
Make sure if you do this to trace them in several different poses, and as you draw try to imagine them as 3D rather than 2D. It helps to get the feel of the shape.

I'm sorry, but Hasbro JUST got over a fight about this. Derp is not an offensive word, it is a word you use when you mess up. If I were to trip, my friend would say derp. Disability means disability, derp does not.
They/Them. Call me Coyote
feel free to send me a trade. I took a two year break and am trying to catch up.

Aww I'm sure they didn't mean that with Derpy Hooves! Its always nice to have an oddball popping a laugh ocacctionally in a cartoon.

I love Derpy because I'm a lot like her sometimes.I'm very clumsy and I trip over my own two feet.I think we all (and don't shot me for this.) have a little bit of a derp in use....Some more than others.*points to self.*
