I don't think it really matters. I read them out of order (whichever one I found in the bookstore was the next one I read) and the stories were easy enough to follow. Electra Heart left out The Silver Chair from their chronological list; it's #6, followed by #7 The Last Battle, if you decide to go that way.

For your other question re: Game of Thrones, I say give it a shot. I really liked the series, though it does get a bit graphic at times (I wasn't bothered by this, but I know some people are). If you like epic fantasy like The Lord of the Rings or The Wheel of Time, I'd say go for it, although GoT definitely has a more adult feeling to it than either of those.

Hello, um, joining in?
Username: ForEternity
Nickname (if any): Eternity, Slice or Willow, but it would probably be best if you call me Eternity
Top Ten Favorite Books: GOODNESS WHERE DO I BEGIN
(the following isn't in any kind of order)
Warriors (fave in the series is a tie between Moonrise, Sunrise, Forest of Secrets and Last Hope)
Harry Potter (Prisoner of Azkaban)
Gregor the Overlander (Prophecy of Bane)
Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus (Son of Neptune)
Kane Chronicles (Serpent's Shadow)
13 Treasures Trilogy (13 Curses)
Gaurdians of Ga'Hoole (The Outcast)
Average amount of time it takes you to finish a book: It depends on the pace of the book. If the book has good pacing, it should take me either less than a week or one night. If it is kinda slow but still a good book, it'll take me about a month. If the beginning is slow and nothing important is happening for the first ten long chapters, it will takes me several months to finish
How many of the above symptoms you regularly experience: More or less all of them

Hello, For Eternity! I couldn't help but notice that you like the 13 Treasures Trilogy. Who's your favorite character? I personally like both Sparrow and Red/Rowan. ^^

Red is definitely my favorite, along with Warwick. They're both pretty awesome.

Top Ten Favorite Books:
Hard to pick but I'll try.
Divergent series (three books)
The fault in our stars
Hunger games series (three books)
The book thief
Someone named Eva (Not very popular, it's kinda little kiddy in a way, but still good)
if I stay

Average amount of time it takes you to finish a book: I'm a insanely fast reader. The amount of time it takes me to read a book some what varies based on:

1.) How much I like it.
2.) How many other books I want to read
3.) How busy I am

For example, I read "Allegiant" in one day, because I had waited a long time to get it. However I read "Darkness over Denmark," for almost two months, because it was to factual for my taste and was for school.

I probably way over complicated this answer, sorry.

How many of the above symptoms you regularly experience:

6/7 only because I'm not aloud to bring books into the cafeteria at my school -.-

Top Ten Favorite Books: I honestly can't think of any specific top 10, I've read so many I've enjoyed. Anything by Stephen King, or Bret Easton Ellis is great (Lunar Park destroyed me emotionally and American Psycho is a brilliant novel). I'm terrible with remembering authors' names, but I generally read either Young Adult fiction (dystopian world/zombies etc) or anything with a (fictional or not) serial killer/kidnapper/crime/zombie in it. Garth Nix's Shade's Children is probably the novel that had the most profound effect on me as a child.
Average amount of time it takes you to finish a book: 1-3 hours, sometimes longer depending on the complexity of the book and how much I enjoy it.
How many of the above symptoms you regularly experience: Probably about 5/7.

Anyone else a Tamora Pierce fan? My library has almost all of her Tortall books and it makes me so happy <3 I'm currently re-reading the Song of the Lioness series, and next I'll read the Immortals (I never finished it the first time).

I used to read her books. I'm the opposite--I loved the Immortals quartet and re-read it several times, but I never finished the Song of the Lioness ones--I think I only read the first two. They were quite good, they just weren't for me.
