What is your connection with your fursona? What do they represent of you or to you?
Well, I have three to cover each part of my personality without putting too much into one or two.
Deja Vu centers mostly around my interests. She shows my main likes of Fall Out Boy, music, and other little things. She also shows off my more tomboyish side, which couldn't quite be captured in my opinion in either Escott or Starrk. Her name, Deja Vu, also came to mean quite a few things. It shows the relapse of time that I tend to notice about my own personality and so on. Lastly, she represents me in my less than desirable moments. She doesn't talk much and when she does it is more of a sarcastic, and even demeaning tone because she gets annoyed by the smaller things.
Starrk is more of my energetic and playful side. She shows me at my higher points; talkative and happy-go-lucky. She was the first of the three I created, and has come to become the past me as well. She is just as energetic as Deja Vu is sarcastic. This quality definitely couldn't go along with Deja Vu, and seems almost contradicting in Escott. She is definitely a tomboy as well, just not to the extent she had to be in order to match how I really am.
Escott was made last of the trio, as I couldn't quite capture what I needed from a male fursona in anything else I tried. Don't get me wrong, the others I tried out were fine characters, but it took quite a bit to get it right and I didn't think his qualities would be good with Deja Vu or Starrk. So, he came along. He shows off my childish and laid back side. This wasn't working with Starrk since she is so energetic and Deja Vu isn't child-like as he is. It just didn't sit right with me.
