@Hedas Clans
I like kat am using a generator to predict kitting and all that! Just so you know. It's too hard for me to say how many die and how many live as kittens are too cute to kill. So I am leaving the hard part up to you guys and I am just giving you the number XD

so far i've just used these numbers for the kitten generator below to determine how many kits will be born (my max is four, i know the game's max is six but i dont want to overwhelm my clans with so many babies :'D) but i gotta start using one to predict which live and what-not.
1 Kit — 1-15
2 Kits — 16-55
3 Kits — 56-90
4 Kits — 91-100
(*if someone asks for a big litter i roll for whether its gonna be four kits, or 1>49 for five and 50>100 for six.)

Quick genetics question:
What kits would a short haired black she-cat have if she bred with a short haired ginger tom and/or a short haired black and white tom?
My friends cat is in heat and these two male cats are like waiting outside her house for her cat XD I'm just curious what kind of kits they would have

@Kat
Black she-cat x Black & White tom
(I'll assume female kitty has no white)
All kits will be short-haired.
All kits will be solid. (Not tabbied)
All kits will be black.
Half the kits will have 0-50% white spotting. Half of them will not.
May have some variations as I don't know what other genes they may have underlying.
Black she-cat x Ginger tom
(Assuming neither have white.)
(This one is trickier as idk if the ginger is actually a tabby. If he is he may also carry solid.)
All kits will be short-haired.
Option A: All the kits will be solid. (Ginger's w/stripes)
Option B: Half the kits will be solid. Half the kits will be tabbied.
Option C: All the kits will be tabbied.
0 White spotting on all kits.
All female kits will be Tortoiseshell. (Black & Red)
All male kits will be Black.
May have some variations as I don't know what other genes they may have underlying.
Especially in the male cat. If he's a lighter ginger he may not actually be red. He could be a dilute and be cream. If so, if your friend's female kitty carries the dilute gene half of the kits could be dilute, half of them not.
Ps. Lemme elaborate on the ginger tom's kits btw. How there can be three different options for his kits tabby-ness. So there is no such thing as a visibly solid ginger cat. You'll always see them with stripes. Even if they're ACTUALLY solid. So your ginger tabby tom may actually be solid, and you'll get no tabbies. However he may actually be a tabby. And depending if he carries the solid gene,
he could have all tabby children, or half solid, half tabby. You won't know until they actually have kits. And if you do get a half-solid half tabby litter check the kits first. Are the tabbies only ginger kits? (Well tbh you won't get fully ginger kits, only one's with ginger are also black. So check if it's only the ginger patches that are tabbied) If so it's likely he was solid.
