-rolls around- Guise, this is hard.
I'm horrible at making decisions about anything. Even the simplest things. Decisions are hard for me, okay? Haha, I think over things way too much.
Well, do this. When the clutch is posted, check to see if any eggs are open. If one is an egg you like, get it. If all are taken or if the eggs left dont look good, then save up for breedings.
This is a good way to work with it, in my opinion.
If your looking at adopting from the new handlers clutch, I dunno if you could claim multiple eggs since it is for those who dont have Wyrms yet.
If I were in such a situation, I think I would go for the clutch's- Just because the thought of not knowing what you get intrigues me XD
Im thinking mainly because you could have picked a rare or something wonderful and not know it... or you could pick something adorable and floofy-

As of the last discussion I had with HopefulMonster about the New-Handler's-Clutch, it's going to be one per person. The point of the clutch is to allow people who don't have Wyrms yet to get a chance to have their first one.
I've had some conversations with others, and I want to clarify what 'one per person' means in regards to the First-Timer-Clutch ONLY:
1. One per household. I'm sorry, but /anyone/ can claim they have brothers/sisters/cousins/friends they are buying for. If there are leftovers that don't sell, HopefulMonster will open up the clutch to let people get additional eggs, but I know what we're hoping is to see first-timers who have been waiting get a chance.
2. The eggs are meant to go to the person in question. A relative can't buy a first-timer egg and then give it to an existing handler. Nor can an existing handler buy an egg for someone else. Again, this only applies to the first-timer clutch.
Now, this only applies to the first 'new-handler's clutch'. Really, we just want to make sure everyone who has been waiting can get a chance at those eggs. The second clutch will be open to anyone, but may still end up one-per-person. I don't recall if she made a final decision on that one, yet.

Oh good! That is actually a relief that this is clarified. It is fair aswell so that people can get their first Wyrms.

This is such a great idea for the newer people. c:
As far as the second clutch goes, I really think that there should be a one egg per person cap - there's an incredible amount of demand for the eggs with a very small amount of supply, and it's rather unfair when the fastest person who happens to be around at the time the eggs are posted takes almost half the clutch. Some people are in school/work/different timezones, so it would give everyone a fair shot at picking up a new egg. c:

Generally, with open clutches, I think I would generally say two-per-person is fair. A limit so people don't buy half the clutch, but enough that people can expand if they want to, or get one for a friend without worrying about not getting one for themselves.

Got my new Wyrmies.
I think part of the eye-highlight (the little dot of white on the eye) on the yellow one got rubbed off in transit. So I'm going to have to hunt down a white paint pen or something at some point. Maybe ask HopefulMonster what she suggests for fixing that.
