wow. we actually have two days because the shops don't celebrate halloween but a thing only this village does [it's so weird but oh well xD] and that's called mattemännchen and like 2 weeks after halloween or so ^^ but the normal citizens usually so both ^^ i'll be only attending halloween though. as joker ^^ ;D yeah i get you on the expensiveness and i won't put up the effort again to sew another robe x] fawkes, as what will you be going? :D

My friend's mom made us Hogwarts robes to wear a few years ago, so I know nothing of the expensiveness...

They celebrate Halloween in the books; Hogwarts is decorated, and James and Lily died on Halloween, but I dunno what they do to celebrate at home...

I guess go around in their robes and collect candy from the unsuspecting muggles?

Well, I don't have a special robe thing, but it will be this Sweeney Todd mix thing, I dye my hair a white streak (I have short, fluffy hair) and I bought razors, etc. XD

Last Halloween I was Nymphadora Tonks. I really wanted to be her, but she's always wearing her trench coat, and every trench coat I found was like, eighty bucks. Then I stumbled upon a five dollar trench coat, just my size. at a garage sale. Then I dyed my hair purple, got a black long sleeve shirt, black skinny jeans, and some ankle boots. My costume came together perfectly!

I was Hermione for one Halloween. I got a special motion activated wand, a cloak, and harry potter glasses.(Don't ask why.) It didn't cost that much and it was awesome!!!!!
