I've actually never really been good at proportions. With noses at least. I took a picture of me doing exactly what he's doing in the image, and based my proportions off from there. I also have to take a picture of my own hand, so I can draw it. BUT I HAVE THE CURSE OF BEING LEFT HANDED. I have to constantly fix up where I smear my image and it's frustrating.
