My mom has Firefly, as well as quite a few other G1 toys to. I grew up with G3 - I have so many of those ponies, and the castle, and some scooters.

But on the other note, i like Rainbow Dash better then Firefly ^^

I loved Surprise. Her design is so bubbly looking. x3 I like RD and Firefly as I have the Firefly toy from the '80s.

Did anypony used to watch earlier generations before FiM? I grew up with G3.

I grew up with G3 too, and I really really liked it. I don't remember much about it now, but I had a lot of the 'action figures' and the stuffed Pinkie Pie. I even had a sticker book of the 'Very Minty Christmas'! We found it in my attic yesterday ^^

G3 is my childhood as well! 8D
I still have, like, 15 ponies. I never watched the cartoons or movies, but I made up a little personality for each pony. :3 My favourites were Minty, Sunny Daze, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. Surprisingly, the personalities I gave RD and Pinkie are strangely similar to their G4.RD was always a badass in my eyes. xD
