I'm confuse about litters, so:
How do character litters/breedings work? Do you do these just for fun with random characters just to see how the puppies are or just do this with characters that have a serious relationship?

How do character litters/breedings work? Do you do these just for fun with random characters just to see how the puppies are or just do this with characters that have a serious relationship?
Well you have to have permission from the other owner firstly (or if you own them both all the better because you only need your own permission)
Generally you could do them for fun, or if the characters have a serious relationship.
Take me and a friend of mine's characters
Spade and Sol, we just bred them for the fun of it, and ended up with two beautiful boys uVu

however, take a species like JBD or Kamaras;
the characters have serious and developed relationships before they 'breed'. It all just depends on what you want to do either way works.

I very rarely breed my characters, and when I do it's usually between characters that are in a relationship. There's been a one or two times I bred my characters just because and I ended up regretting it later because now I'm not sure how to tie it into their stories. I don't have anything against people who breed their characters just for fun though, it's really up to someone's personal preference on how they want their breedings to work. I just personally prefer breeding characters already in a serious relationship because otherwise it can make things complicated for me.

i do both haha
you can just pick two ocs and see if they'll work well and make cute babies or you can take two ocs in a serious relationship and give them cute babies
basically either way you end up with cute babies xD

There's no set way it works, you can do whatever you want as long as you have permission from the owners of both. Some people like the characters to be mates, some don't. It's just designing babies based on the parents' designs. They don't even have to be 'canonically' their kids.

I personally like breeding characters that have a serious relationship - so I don't do too many breedings and most of my charries don't get a large family </3

So um I have some characters who need friends if anyone wants. I would be glad to RP them with anyone.

So um I was wondering if anyone had any Dox Dragons that could befriend Lillybloom viewtopic.php?f=53&t=1178662 She has never met another Dox Dragon before other than when she was young. She is afraid of all dragons of any breed and most Dox Dragons.
