      so this is a question for the whole model horse collecting thing.

      What is you ultimate model horse Grail? It can be breyer/stone/resin/china what have you. I'll start.

      My ultimate horse would be a smutty palomino oceania resin with four extra long stockings and a broken blaze with two grey-blue eyes and little eye spots. Maybe even some light colored ermine spots.

      Resin x

Agh, For resins it would hooves down be a Traditional Nahar. For Breyers, definitely the clear Rainbow Weather Girl ;.;

@Curoe- It's really pretty! Glad it all worked out c: I really love the Silver mold.

My quelle made it home safe and sound, got some better pics of him

He's happily residing on a shelf for now! He looks very nice.

As for my favorite Breyer mold, that's tough. I've always really liked the Othello mold, and the Lonesome Glory mold, but the Uncalled For tail-ed Strapless mold is definitely in my top 3 at least. As I mentioned I also really like the Silver mold, and my two models I have on Silver I looove (will be sad to see them go when they are up for sale, it's Matrix and Blue Suede Shoes). I'm also really fond of the new Connemara mare (Chanel and stuff) mold! It's really pretty and adorable, and I love how detailed it is. Don't think I have a specific favorite, the one I had a good conga going of was the Ideal/warmblood mold but I think that was a coincidence, it's a pretty mold but not my favorite.

Does anyone know what number the special run horses were limited to?

Sent my parents to scour the route 127 sale for plastic ponies. Went to one but had to high-tail it back because I got at least 10 chigger bites in the span of a half hour XD
Wish me luck! Told em to pick up anything they think is a Breyer so here's hopin x3

I'm not as deep into collecting as I was a year or two ago... but I still have a list of ponies I'd like to add to my collection. Paying for college comes before paying for plastic ponies :/

But the one thing I want to make sure I get is a portrait horse made of my own horse. That's my grail.
I've done some looking around at different artists. It's all so overwhelming.
I also have no idea what model to use.

Same here! I've always wanted that also. All of the Hanoverians (as far as I know) are all in dressage poses, and my Hano and I always did the hunter/jumpers. I know there are people on etsy who will resculpt some Breyer molds but it depends on the mold and artist. So perhaps, if you have a mold or model you like, but wish it was in a different pose, you may have some luck there! I know most artists will add or subtract female/male bits, but I agree - it's a lot harder to find someone who can totally remold a Breyer.
