going on in real life to make me change my username! i hope

@anathema - i personally believe that it should be spelled 'twenty one pilots'
as thats what the band as requested, but it really depends for me. like if I'm
in a hurry but need to know something about them, then i'll type '21 pilots'.

though either way, as long as you like the band for the band and the music,
and not to just follow along with the crowd, then you're cool with me c:

I'll abbreviate if I'm typing it quick, but I have this weird thing about numbers and would prefer to spell it out. Like some numbers just bother me so much and make me uncomfortable I don't even understand... Haha sorry you all didn't need to know that

i heard from somewhere that they prefer people to spell it out. i can't really remember the reasoning, but tyler basically said that if we want to shorten it, he'd like us to do "tøp" rather than "21p", or to just write it out. like i said, i can't remember the reasoning, but i don't shorten it to "21p" 'cause he said that. that's just me tho.

i personally believe that it doesn't matter how it's spelt, whether it be twenty one pilots, twenty øne piløts, twenty | one | pilots, 21 pilots, etc.

it makes me very uncomfortable when they spell it as "21 pilots."
the name doesn't feel the same like it lost its meaning, if you get what i mean.

tbh i don't mind it at all, it doesn't bother me although i don't usually use 21 pilots, i use top.
i understand why people are uncomfortable with it tho!

i actually heard of tyler saying something along the lines of "spelling out twenty one pilots gives it more meaning" in an interview. i honestly wouldn't agree more; you see the number 21 in its standard form all the time, but when you write it out it appeals to the eyes more. i don't know, that's just me c;

i also like way too many bands and want to change my signature way too often. daily struggles. /:

today i was listening to twenty one pilots and ugh. i mean, i listen to them daily, but do you ever just forget how much you love a band and you're like "what is it about them like why do i love them so much" and then you listen to a song that just hits ya right in the gut and you're like "OH YEAHHH. smol beans. i love them."

@anathema;; and they were never meant to be "21 pilots". their name is twenty one pilots. it's always been spelled out. it's like with blink-182 or third eye blind or... idk. other bands with numbers. i know people will always shorten things and type them different ways but to me, it just looks better and it's more true to the band when you type it out the way it's always been meant to be. like with panic! at the disco. they aren't panic! at the disco without the "!".
