i thought about it. and. i think that also in slytherin there were people who are kind and friendly. not every slytherin is evil. j.k.rowling wanted us to see it that way; as an good example you can see that in the way she often writes "the slytherins" for just a few students, when they teased harry again or somthing similiar. i think he would have found friends in slytherin or in other houses too who would have driven his thoughts away from dark arts or anything like that.

Mine's an Snowy Owl. They're gracious, smart and witty. They're quick and pure. The colour, which is white, stands -to me- for freedom: doing what you want to do. And to me, thats what an owl is: freedom. It's not just feathers and wings, thats what an owl needs, but what an owl is, really is, is freedom.

i think mine's snail because i'm just slow in everything. i'm lazy and i need time to recover from bad times and actually for everything. and i tend to "sneak back into my shell" when times get difficult for me and even though i'm communicative, deep inside i don't really get along well with people because i usually can't associate myself with most people's ways of thinking and, also concerning the shell, i need comfort. also a snail leaves a trace behind and most people remember me because i'm really weird, talkative, and i dress emo or punk or whatever and people here have never seen anything like this before xD x]
also as a metaphor; the snail has its heart in the shell, sorta hidden and protected from the outer world and most people don't know me at all..

I could really see him turning to the Dark Arts, but I don't have any precise predictions. I could see him finding different partners in crime in Slytherin house. There's just something about him that seems to always attract an ally or two no matter where he is. He'd have to be a lot more thick-skinned since Draco would be there spreading filth, but I could also see Slytherin embracing him because having Harry there would be an obvious asset to the House. And we all know how much a Slytherin likes assets.

Perhaps Harry would be the spark of good in a House muddled in an evil tint. Or perhaps the House would be the poison that taints Harry. I think it all depends on how incorruptible you think Harry is or isn't.

Yeah I'll do that next time I update the list. House:

As for patronus: I am a fox because I identify with the attributes that it is normally stereotyped into. Foxes are quietly observant even when you think they're not paying attention. Foxes are good at problem solving and they're good at outwitting their prey/enemies. Although I haven't any prey or enemies to outwit, I am nevertheless capable of predicting people's reactions and acting accordingly.

Patronuses are such an interesting topic! I'm interested to see everyone else's replies!
