Yeah, thankfully on my DVD you can either watch the original or the "new" version. But I didn't know that until AFTER I watched it...they changed it up quite a bit. And Ruki, I love your fursona :3

Well nothing can beat the first TLK, but I don't mind TLKSP or TLK1/2. I'm actually hoping for further production on more movies, although it scares me too...

Thank you Hope^^ She went through several transformations 'til finally I found the one I liked best. My favorite TLK is the first one. Scar makes it perfect. When I was little though, I loved the second one because of Kovu and Kiara, but now I realize that it has TONS of plot pot holes. Like, how was Kovu "hand-picked by Scar to follow in his paw prints" before "Simba exciled them to the Outlands" and Kovu still be as young as Kiara? And the 3(1 1/2) movie was. . . eh. They deffinately didn't have the same voices and animators. I think further production would kinda ruin it though. It doese hwoever give plenty of room for TLK fans to make their own storys.

The morning report was never on the movie just the broadway show right? I have memorized all the songs from the TLK movie from way back when (the original, not the DVD remake), and I watched IJCWTBK on youtube and the animations were totally different. Like the crocodiles and birds. It got on my nerves. Why ruin something that great?

Yeah. 'The Morning Report' was written for the broadway production in '97 and when they were getting ready to re-release the movie onto DVD, they decided to go back and edit in a new song. For the transition to HD and and all, they had to go back and re-animate some parts (Like in Can't Wait to Be King) as well as remix the sound. ^^
