Also another method I found easy to leveling up is to scan a QR code secret base with lvl 100 Blisseys (It's pretty easy to find one). This way, you can basically farm in truckloads of EXP, I've used it a few times and it works amazingly well.
Downside to it is the day you register it, you can't battle them. You can also only battle them once a day and time traveling only delays this (Games are very time sensitive). c:

I've never made it a point to level my Pokemon past 50 since practically every battle mode sets your pokemon at 50, especially if they are fully EV trained. The only reason i would is to get higher level moves.
Is there another reason i am not aware of that makes it critical to level them up to 100?

The thought of having a level 100 pokemon
Yeah, that was great the first time^^ My team pokemon now often reach level 100, also because I use them during the training of others.
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

nova ;; there's nothing super special about them, but in oras, you need one lv 100 on your team to be able to encounter reshiram/zekrom.

☁xxx On the topic of levelling, if moves and such aren't an issue, then you could just stick the pokemon in the daycare, go to lumiose and put a coin under your circle pad. I did that for a couple of my shinies that I just wanted to have level 100 for show, left it on overnight and they were 100 when I took them out the next day.
Idk if there are any "infinite run" areas like Lumiose, in ORAS, though ^^;

There is. Look up a video because it's hard to explain.
Use soft cardboard or tape though. A coin over time can mess up your circle pad.
