I need Doctor Who comfort right now and I need it badly. My cat was put down while I was at school, he didn't have me by his side and I wish I'd stayed home today because I miss him so much.

During Winter Break I had stayed up until 2:00 AM almost every day watching Doctor Who. xD It was a fun time. There were frappucinos.... *drools*

I do! I don't even know why...I just don't like him always being center. But it will be like it for all 'current' standing doctors.

Sorry if I offend anyone, but in my opinion, DW's just been getting...worse. And worse

I think series 7 (no spoilers intended) part 1 has been to choppy. No theme ran throughout it like it does in any of the others. It was just random and choppy. I don't like Moffat running the show - Russel T Davies ias and was a legend. Series 5 was good, serious six wasn't the best...Matt's a good Doctor, and he would be even better if he had a better writer.

I actually quite like Moffat's writing...I mean, I have no problem with RTD, but, I really do enjoy the mystery Moffat brings. I think it mainly comes down to personal taste. Some people dislike where Moffat's taken the show, some people don't mind, and some people think it's a big improvement. No writer can ever please everyone.

@lil28, I don't really see how part 1 of series 7 was "random and choppy"...it's a new adventure each episode, like it usually is? I also think it's harder to implement a theme for 5 episodes. And it would be odd starting a theme and carrying it over to part 2 now that we have a new companion. I expect the next theme will start in part 2 as things have settled into place.

Yeah, I really like Moffat as the writer. But overall, they all seem to be great. The person who wrote the ones for Season 1(Classic DW) was probably the most interesting, though.

And yeah, it does kind of irritate me that Matt is always up front. But he is the current doctor.
