but I don't have time to read anymore. So I have this pile of books which I'm never gonna read sitting my bed.

I'm glad I found someone who likes them so quickly!
I've been thinking about the books a lot recently; I might read the series again soon. But first, I have to read my pile of unread books that's beside my bed; I've only got 11 left! However, Christmas is coming and I've asked for quite a few more ... oh dear ... :what:

The Growling Wolf wrote:In reply to Dann and Dex, I just couldn't get on with the narnia series, I don't know why! I got about as far as about the 3rd book, before I gave up. Have any of you guys read no.1 ladies detective agency? I love it! It's about a lady who lives in Botswana and opens up her own private detective agency. It's amazing!

I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't get into them, but, I couldn't get into The Lord of the Rings. I read the Hobbit (I can't believe I finished it), and then I started the first book in the trilogy, and I only got a quarter of the way.
This was a few years ago, and I have seen my "literary palette" develop in relation to nonfiction and "classics", so maybe I could get into them, but I've picked up The Hobbit and read the first chapter or so, and it didn't grab me like so, so many other books do.

I'm on a semi-hiatus, but would be willing to come back
full time for a good RPG.
I'll look at anything, but I prefer
animals, and I won't do Hunger Games/Divergent, anything
supernatural, or anything where the main point is romance.
I've done Warrior cats and Camp Half-Blood RPGs quite a
few times, including hosting my own on another site, but I
would prefer not to do either of those RPGs again. I might
instead be interested in a Hogwarts RPG, or maybe something
based in WW1 or WW2. I'm probably semi-literate, but please,
nothing below that. (And I like RPing male characters, if
you're in need of any.)

So, have an RPG suggestion? Or maybe a trade? Or just
wanna message me? Please, don't hesitate! (;

Greetings, AwkwardFox. I noticed C.S. Lewis's Space Trilogy in your list, I love those books. Out of the three, my favorite had to be Perelandra.
Has anyone read Lewis's Until We Have Faces?

We were actually just talking about that, coincidentally enough. I'm hoping to get it today at the bookstore.

Oh my gosh, I'm halfway through Beautiful Creatures. I love it!! Sure, it's not the best book I've ever read, but it's refreshing to have to put effort into thinking about a book, and actually sit back and enjoy it. For once, I owe it to a movie for getting me into a book. I saw the movie trailer and absolutely had to read the book. All of the plot twists, oh my goodness! Sometimes, especially with fantasy books, you know where they're going. This one just keeps surprising me.

I, personally, love it. One of my best friends really couldn't stand it, though, so it's a matter of opinion, I suppose. I just got the final book in the trilogy, Reached, for Christmas, so I'll need to read that. After I finish The Hobbit and read the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
