With my friends I normally have a Medic tailing me since a college buddy of mine always plays Medic but I've been on my own, which is teaching me a lot about the magic of shooting everything that moves and hoping it's not a teammate. Though I'm very protective of my team Engineers while they're building which pays off.

I've changed my display name (Sweet Apple Chainsaw to Hipster Firefly) but the URL is still the same if you wanna look me up.

I'll send you a friend request. I got a few spare weapons today, so I'll send them over sometime. Don't be alarmed by the stupid display name I have. It's a joke that kind of stuck and now people recognise the name so I kept it.

Nice to hear that you're protective of your team. I'm a Medic first and an Engineer second so I really appreciate team members that protect eachother. I've died so many times after my team left me alone with an unfinished sentry, little ammo, and a spy nearby. You know you're in a lousy team when the pyros won't spycheck and the only thing that's keeping the enemy from getting your intel is your level 1 sentry and your shotgun.

You know what bugs me? I'm reading everyone's posts, and I realize how retarded playing in only offline mode makes me. What on Earth is crafting and what do you end up with after doing it? I know I can't do it, because in offline mode random drops are almost nonexistent (or I am just an extremely unlucky player), but I just figured I might as well know.
And another thing. It makes me so sad that all of you guys have played on Teufort, Well, ect., and I can't because offline mode doesn't have any of those maps. e.e I just want to play on them so badly! *cries* xD. I would, but, man, I'm way too shy to play against people who have probably been playing since '07. o.o I'd just be that weirdo noob that everyone wanted to get off the server. xD.
And this seems to have turned more into an actual rant than a post so, I think I'll stop. Lol.

You're not retarded. I only played in offline mode for quite a while and I still only play Medic in offline mode (unless my team doesn't have one and really needs one) because I feel like I'm really noobish. But you can just try multiplayer whenever you like, and if people are being mean just leave the server. I'm not very good at most classes but most of the time people don't seem to care, at least in maps that are labeled for all skill levels xD

Crafting isn't too hard once you understand the basics-- I'd suggest reading the Tf2 Wiki article on it. You may have to sacrifice some items, though.

I haven't played a lot of the renowned maps like Teufort. But I share your opinion, I wish offline mode had more maps!
