If they don't get money from the people buying Minecraft, they'll probably charge for the right to have skins, play on Servers, etc. I don't exactly know whats going to happen to Minecraft, I love it so much, but they will lose many people.
Plus, textures. How will they make the same types of textures? I really don't want this great game to be ruined.

Ah, I agree. It's a tough call, but I know one thing for sure - if these money-obsessed creeper killers try and change the most amazing game that I have ever played, that pushed my imagination to the limit and tore me away from the rubbish games with written stories, I swear to god i'll be the one leading the riots. I swear....

The new update's quite good; although I don't really like the look of all the doors xD I preferred the old look. So far I've never encountered a Guardian or one of those underwater temples; but it makes oceans a bit more exciting.

I rarely play in survival, so I wouldn't know; but as far as creativity goes that new mob is definitely one of the best. Wouldn't beat the creeper, but it's really kinda cute. I think my favourite features are the new stones- I think my faves are polished andesite, polished diorite and ordinary granite C: They fit in really well when you're building a castle or something.

Oh yeah, if they improve the minecraft graphics i'm gonna die of a heart-attack. The rubbish graphics are what makes minecraft amazing.

I am torn with the change of ownership.

I have a feeling Minecraft will change for the worse but at the same time it could stay the same. Microsoft is a large company and wants to make money from this buy. If they did change something iconic to the same, or changed the way you played the game they know they will loose people and loosing people means they would loose money. So I am pretty sure they wont do anything over the top to change/add to the game but there will be changes to the game and I am worried what they might do.

I don't think they will change the style of minecraft graphics. As they are, they're very easy and cheap to code. Changing them would upset players, it would be more expensive, take more time to code, and it would just pointless.
