Right now they are only on hold. Horsy has a lot on her mind, and is trying to get a better grasp on the growing community. The only thing happening is big decisions, and there can be a lot of pressure. There's really nothing else to it. Just like a nice needed break from running a large company :)

Well as pathetic as this may sound, I'd probably be extremely upset. Why?

WMEs have affected my life waaaaay more than it should have. For one, it made be take drawing seriously. And because I would always draw them, I became "good" at drawing horses. And that started my passion for horses, which has influenced me to go on a large animal vet. (Mostly for the horses) So yes. WMEs have influenced me a large way, so I would be very sad to see them go.

I'm just curious though, but what would you guys do if WME's shut down? and how have WME's influenced what you like to draw and how often do you check to see of the fanclub is doing? Or if any WME's have been made?

I'd probably be bugging my boss to make more marble cats since that's my only other source of obsession, but with my wmes I would likely never get rid of them. Wmes don't really influence what I like to draw; dreams do because I get a tidalwave of muse from a good dream. I did however have a dream of a lovely Dun colored wme colt. Other then that... I did learn how to draw on paint mainly because of the wme art need. I do more then admit they need to be upgraded. I check often, to see the art, mate updates, breeding openings, art contests, shop openings, and the big one to see if there's a change withe the front page. I do check to see if any new wmes are made, but I don't plan on owning anymore from adoption so im just there to look at the beauts and babies. You see I really love seeing couples. But as I also learned owning a lot of wmes can be a pain in da butt when it comes to doing art for them. Finding artists. or if your like me not used to drawing horse anatomy anymore its a earning experience. but they're pretty good it just looks better in person on paper.

I mean I would be sad, but one of the reasons right now that the club isn't moving much is because of the lack of breeding. Everyone wants to show off their babies or show new pairs off both mate and actual pairs. And everyone now a days has to post about their wme seeking a mate. Im not sure if that's because the front page isn't very updated or if its because it actually gets replies better. I remember when we didn't have breedings for three months sometimes. It gave us time to chit chat about our wmes, the breedings we hoped for, to show off art. Our favorite pairs. like Imogen and skylorne. Even voting. Sure we slowed down but people still posted everyday. The questions I see every now and then here are great I actually wished they were asked around the time I joined. But its also not the first time an adoptable I loved was shut down because of stress and immence interest. There's still interest in the adoptable even though its been closed for over a year. It was extremely stressful for those of us who modded because we were the flood control. Its the idea when your demanding things think about this person your talking to and how they probably feel about being mobbed for an out of control issue. Its not nice sometimes.

Im more then sure a few neighbors dislike me, but that's ok. Not everyone in the world can love you. For me I would be happy to have this expirence, because I made some great new friends, aquantences and its my first large community- well for an adoptable. there's other large communities I been in mainly for rping. But I wouldn't hold it against anyone if it had to happen. Its life. and lifes more important. especially when I know this is stressful first hand. Especially if your prone to panic attacks which I hope no one on the staff is. o-o because they're horrible.

Like many other, the first thing I usually do when I get onto CS is check to see how the fanclub is doing, if there's any new posts, etc. And then, when I read all of it and reply to other WME related stuff, I check to see if theres any new WMEs or WME breedings done.

I know this might seem like I have no life, but I like when adoptable WMEs come out for people to adopt because I put as much effort as I can into adopting them if I connect; and, trust me, I connect with a lot. I've had dreams //literally, dreams// of winning one of the WMEs that I connect with, and then, when I wake up, I get on and check straight away. Yeah, sometimes I'm shot down, but I'm sure that the winners put just as much hard work and love into the form as I did. And that's all I could wish for; the wme to have a caring owner who won't let them collect dust.
Honestly, I, too, don't know what I would do if WMEs were closed/deleted/shut down. I quit CS for a while before, came back for a week, quit again, and then came back..Then I started getting back into this adoptable and have been here for a very long while. If they quit, I wouldn't really know what to do because there's rarely any other adoptables that I'm interested in at the time..

If WMEs closed down, I would probably continue to roleplay my herd with people, but art-wise I don't think I'd be motivated enough to draw them very often, since I have such an awful attention span for inspiration. It would be sad for me, but not leave-the-site sad, since I have a few other areas of the forum I really enjoy.
Essentially, I would be disappointed, but things would go on. I guess I just wouldn't need to fill as large a gap.

I can't wait for them to start running again, though. It's lovely to see all of the new designs when it goes smoothly.

WMEs are most of my CS life to be honest; the other species on CS are either too big or too small for me to follow properly. JBDs were fun, but I've never been able to get a foothold on the new website so I can never join in the fan base. It's the fanclub that makes me love equids so much <3 I check the fanclub every like 5 hours |D

I'd obviously keep my herd and try to keep contact with everyone here. I wouldn't quit CS if they shut down but I'd spend a lot more time on my PS3 than on here if it were to happen.
