Okay dokay, thanks Kita. c: So, my Eleusis, who is shiney, with one shinequid parent, could she be considered half shine? Or do these not exist?

yeah, i think 'half-shine' is the correct term, same as half-drac and half-skelly n_n

No, you can call her a half-shine if you want but that doesn't mean she is part of the shine theme. She is just an equid with a bit of shine on her from her parent. She cannot pass the shine on to her foals and is not considered part of the theme so the term "half-shine" doesn't mean much I'm afraid

Let's see, I have two roan quids (if those count), as well as Motoma who (if I remember correctly) is part of IceFire's snakequid theme.

    I've read the front page and what not, but from the posts here since I've started lurking from the shadows, I do believe there's quite a bit more to the species than I originally thought.

    I'm currently a non-owner and I've tried for a few, although I have a feeling I've been missing the mark on most of the competitions by a long while. And the no-edits rule got me the first time I tried. quq;

Hmm.. there's not much you can do that helps you win directly.

When I was equidless, I did post in the fanclub a lot, contributing to conversations, helping people order breedings etc. I can't say it helps, but it makes you feel more involved.

I think when you post forms, the aim is for the winner to be able to create character development in the future, so think carefully about how you could develop the character when applying.
