Be vague, and use something common. :) For example, the only real identifying marker I had for Angat's first crush was that he had a white mane. That's easy enough to work with, there are plenty of Smilis with pale-enough-to-be-white manes. If I ever decide to get his crush, I should have little to no trouble finding that little flag.
