I mean that a wacom tablet, like what I use, is not even close to an iPad tablet. A Wacom tablet allows you to draw on a computer like pencil and paper. It isn't a separate computer or anything. It hooks up like a mouse.

By far the only thing you download is the art programs that come with the tablet and the software you have to download for the tablet

No it's think of it this way, it's like a mouse, you draw on the tablet like a piece of paper and it draws right onto your computer screen

That exatly how it looks thou I believe the only tablet that has imagery on the tablet is an Wacom Cuqei (spelled that wrong)
But the cost is in the 1'000 price range
