Get Pikachu Wearing Ash’s Hats

Pokémon Trainers can get five different Pikachu wearing hats based on those Ash has worn in Pokémon the Series.

Ash Ketchum and Pikachu have been traveling together for over 20 years in Pokémon the Series. To commemorate their many adventures, we're giving Trainers the opportunity to receive five different Pikachu in their Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.

These Pikachu are unique—each one wears a hat that Ash wore in one of the regions the famous duo has explored. In addition to sporting one of Ash's trademark hats, each Pikachu is also equipped with a set of moves inspired by the attacks Ash's partner would frequently use in that region.

To get these Pikachu in your game, you will need to enter their respective passwords between November 9 and November 30, 2018. Look below for instructions to bring these Pikachu into your game and for the basic stats and password for each of the five Pikachu.

To get Pikachu via a password:

Open your Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.

Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.

Select Receive Gift.

Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.

Enter one of the passwords listed below.

Watch as Pikachu arrives in your game.

Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Pikachu.

Repeat steps 2–8 to receive the other Pikachu.

Be sure to save your game.

For SM, you had to choose only one hat and miss / trade for the others, but for USUM, you get to receive all of them on one game? *sigh* I'd love to have all the extras from USUM, but I don't have enough money or interest to buy a whole new copy of essentially the same game for it. Happy for everyone who has the new games and gets to enjoy all this stuff, but these ultra-exclusive events are really getting annoying. -_-

You're not "suppose" to. Someone messed up and gave them a copy early... that or they stole it or something.

Something like this actually happened with Super Mario party, A employee from nintendo dropped the cartridge in a airport or something.

Happens with lots of games, breaking street date, previous Pokemon games “leaked” because someone was sold a copy - either by a friend or by a “mom-and-pop” store... Physical copies have no limit on when you can play them from (except if there’s a mandatory D1 patch), though I believe USUM were leaked from their digital versions (something something hacked consoles) but apparently the Switch does their preloading differently, so it'd have to be physical OR early review copies.
Anyway, yes, keep an eye out, a fair chunk has been datamined so far.

I kinda wish they did the same thing with the Pokemon console as the Smash one, had it available early so you could get transfers/preload etc done before the game’s release... I’m just getting a little antsy waiting xD
