I know, just wanted to say that it depends in which context it's used at least for me ;)

I am looking into cosplaying for a first time. :0 And hope to use when I go to cons.
I had a look online and I can't even find someone else cosplaying him. >,> There's also no pre done(??? isk what you call it. factory-made costume thing) costumes that I can find. I only considered that a choice because I don't have a sewing machine or any experience with making clothing so it would be quick and simple to do for a first. But since it's not really available anywhere (yet) my only option is to make my own.

Which would be fun I guess but a part from breaking down the components of the costume I don't know where to start or how to go about some things. ;^;

I am hoping for some tips especially from own experiences. I found this awesome site and I already know it's going to be helpful. But I am looking for more since some aspects of the cosplay I hope to achieve are not on the list.

Does anyone have any recs for any ongoing anime at the moment?
I'm trying new genres, so I guess any would be fine :3

My favorites from this season are:
Kekkai Sensen - The first episode is super-confusing, but it makes some more sense in the further episodes and it's got this great atmosphere that makes me think of Baccano!, or what I imagine Baccano would be like [ I've never watched it ]. The OST is great, gorgeous visuals, lots of action and kind of sci-fi or fantasy stuff with a charismatic cast. It's kind of random and all-over-the-place, but there's a coherent plot in there somewhere and it's filled with a good helping of explosions, action, and some more calming moments. Did I mention the amazing music?

Kyoukai no Rinne - I think one of the major staff members had something to do with InuYasha. It's nothing terribly unique, but a nice and serene fantasy-themed anime with a good helping of comedy. It reminds me a little bit of Miyazaki's Spirited Away, for some vague and remote reason. I'd probably call it a slice-of-life with fantasy, since it involves ghosts, demons, and the afterlife, but in a decidedly light-hearted way.

Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku - Super random, decently funny, and pretty entertaining. It's got some over-the-top comedic action scenes, but nothing too excessive. If you're looking for shoujo-ai, I'm pretty sure this anime will consist of it at some point ^^ Takes place in a school, with a bunch of clubs with interesting abilities and a silly main character.

Ore Monogatari!! - Absolutely love this! It looks like a typical and predictable shoujo, but it's actually a really sweet and heartwarming story with relatable characters and a few comedic twists. It seems like a little bit of a parody of the shoujo genre, but still provides a nice romantic theme throughout. I thought it would be boring, but it's unexpectedly a nice watch to balance out the crazy action of Kekkai Sensen and Owari no Seraph.

Owari no Seraph - It's got that typical 'I gotta take revenge for my friends. ____(evil monsters)____, gotta kill 'em all!' premise, but I love the execution and artwork [ gorgeous scenery and character designs ]. It's off to a bit of a slow start, but I think that's because there's a lot of background building necessary before the plot can go further. Even though there are a few plot holes which bother me, it's still a pretty entertaining action/postmodern fantasy show.

EDIT OMG HOW COULD I FORGET
Plastic Memories - Hands down my favorite this season for many reasons. Takes place in a futuristic world where androids are built to aid humans, but there's also the issue of them having an expiration date and having to part with them, who the humans often come to love. This show benefits from good comedy carefully interspersed with more serious moments [ I cried during the first episode rip me ], and does it well, with no 'emotional whiplash'. The art is really nice, the story even more so. Definitely worth a try, as long as you're okay with somewhat sci-fi settings and possible angst in the future.

Denpa Kyoushi, it might not look like much at the beginning, but the manga got me hooked after a while so I expect much from the anime.

I have a question- I've been hunting around online (with my tablet, mind you xD) and I can't seem to find an anime site that has Free! on it that works o_O I haven't watched it before and I know it's popular, so I wanted to give it a go. Does anyone have a link/site that has it?
