I realized something yesterday whilst working on a rp form. It may be that many or all of you have realized this at one point or another, but I thought I'd share, regardless:
Roleplay is not just a form of writing practice or something to do to kill time. Sure, it can fulfill these roles easily enough, but to a dedicated role-player, there is more. Roleplay opens doors that the average person is not able to open in their own lives. It allows exploration of many different settings, situations and personalities. It can aid in the development of tolerance for many oddities, and provide for the basis of self-discovery through expression of a wide array of personality traits.
A roleplay can add written enrichment for the players because it is something grand that is created by a group of people down to the minutest detail. The spirit of collaboration is exciting and frustrating, a character-building experience proven many times over. Those are merely some of the reasons for the attraction of this wonderful thing, and to each their own on adding to the list.

I absolutely agree with this. This very accurately sums up the "art" of roleplaying, I think; good definition! n.n
Plus, I've discovered my love for writing in it as well; not to mention my possible aspiration to be a writer when I "grow up". n.n I have also met quite a few great friends through it whom I would be lost without.
@Holli: I would love to join your Twilit Wolves roleplay, but sadly I can barely find the time for the roleplays that I already have, let alone a whole new one. :c
My name is Tiger, and your name is not Tiger, and I'm here to make you think about death and get sad and stuff. A few of my interests include science fiction, video games, comic books, girl bands, wearing too much eye makeup, and dismantling the patriarchy. My preferred required pronouns are they/them/their.

It really just means that most people are into warrior cat role plays then say, mouse roleplays or something.
Though, they should put a roleplay catagory especially for warrior cat roleplays, so that you dont need to go through pages of warrior cat roleplays to find a different animal roleplay.
Prim ♥ She's my most precious character, go love her. ;3 Mood: Creative
Doing: Critiquing
Should be Doing: Project
Note:
***Looking for art of Prim,
paying well. Shoot me a PM and we can discuss something.
***I love critiquing
forms, PM me about it.
Stay weird everyone. ;) ♥

I wouldn't mind trying a warrior cat roleplay, but I've never read any of the books, and for some reason I have this idea in my head that most of them would be frustrating in the sense of little literate roleplayers.
