Yeah, fandoms can be toxic, or rather some of the fans can...That's a choice they make, though, and you can just not talk to those people.

Anyway! Everyone here seems sweet

Yeah, some fans can be... unpleasant... but once you find some nice people to hang out with, fandom can be really fun! ^u^

Anyway, speaking of platonic pairings, I don’t think I ever shared my Mirio+Tamaki friendship fic here? Here it is- I had a lot of fun writing this one

i really love how no matter whether a fic with Mirio & Tamaki is platonic or romantic,
you can always just tell how much these two mean to each other<3 i really love that about them a lot.

also regarding the fandom conversation: i do find that some people seem to think the anime itself is overrated.
(though personally i feel like it's well-deserved.) which likely doesn't help with it's reputation either.
and at the end of the day, you're gunna find toxic people in every fandom. unfortunately sometimes those people
just happen to be much louder than the other fans, which can paint a bad picture of the overall fandom to outsiders.

personally i've never been unlucky enough to encounter a really toxic BNHA fandom member.
but i've also been in fandoms for a very long time and kind of just know what to look for to
avoid that unnecessary drama now haha. this fandom seems considerably tame compared to some others i've been in.
