@Vriska Serket, I Totaly agree! Whenever a manga/anime is left at a cliffhanger (no ending) I like, explode and can't think if anything but what the ending could be for the next week!

Don't be sad. ): Read the manga or watch FMAB, the ending is COMPLETELY different. But I hate it when the ending sad too.

The manga ending I found the most annoying was from the manga Nononono (a manga from the author of Elfen Lied by the way). I thought the story was interesting and enjoyed reading the 142 chapters, but then the story suddenly ends, even so the main girl hasn't accomplished her goal yet. I already read a few mangas that end like that, but the only were about 10 chapters long or so. I still recommend the manga to you, since the story is interesting and it's still one of my favourites, but I really wish it had an different ending :|

Ikr! I did watch the whole series, but quite a bit of the gore was edited out so I was okay. The plot and all actually isn't that bad.

I didn't watch Elfen Lied, but if you read Nononono you notice that it's from the same mangaka - it not that bloody and it has different genres and a completely different story, but some scenes are a little extreme - someone wrote it's like Elfen Lied with Skis, but I think the story is better.
