i'm definitely excited!! i always love seeing media adaptations of great books and more daemons in media!
bbc tends to make good series, so i'm not too worried about them 'messing it up' or disappointing greatly.
i think the most recent news is that jack thorne will be the writer adapting the series? i'm not familiar with his work but maybe i'll have to check it out.

anyone finding new forms to look into or that they enjoy projecting?

i think i've settled on intp as my mbti type, so that should help going forward in form-finding.
for the past few weeks, arkaine has been a coyote pretty much constantly. they're a little too social and bold to be very fitting, but i definitely enjoy them as a comfort form. c:
other than that, i've been looking into some voles and mice and even some poison dart frogs as potential forms.

and as a throwback to the previous discussion, the patronuses in harry potter have always reminded me of daemons. c:

Ah the BBC are usually ok with adaptations so that gives me hope for the series. After a quick google I have seen some of Jack Thornes work. I can see why they chose him as he's got a background with dramatic adaptations. It will be an interesting series at this rate anyway.

Form finding I have started looking into canines, I think the time has come to realise that Pine marten is more a comfort form than anything despite the fact we've had the form for years. I'm trying to look into wild canines more than domesticated as I don't really have the social nature of most domesticated dogs. I'm more elusive and tend to have a "pack" bond more than anything, preferring small tight knit groups of a few over larger social groups.
Not that I'm writing musties off altogether but I do "feel" like a canine soul.

Those are interesting forms draumr, I always overlook frogs and reptiles when form searching and I have no idea why. Coyote's are interesting, have you looked into less social wild canines? I was reading the big wild canine post on Deamon forum the other day and it had some interesting personality traits listed for canines I hadn't thought of.

it's a little harder but usually interesting to try to look beyond the mammals and birds when form-finding. i usually overlook them as well, unfortunately.

i have looked into a few less social wild canines- maned wolves are probably the most fitting canine for me! they're actually very close to perfect. it's mostly that they have a different work ethic and are a little more open/affectionate than me that has me still looking. having figured out my mbti type should hopefully help!

when he's been taking the coyote form recently, arkaine has also been usually wearing a wide, dark leather collar. he also wears a dark band around his right leg as a barn owl, but that's really it.

ark likes some of the songs i do but not all- he tends to like more heavily instrumented, fast-paced songs that he can aggressively sing along to, but some slower and lighter songs do appeal to him. he doesn't really have a liking for anything i don't.

A long time ago we played with the idea of accessories but he doesn't wear any now.

Hmm, I'd say he likes pop/dance music more than me and he gets more into the Christian music at church than I do (of course, he'll convince me to get more into it). I like rock and alternative, and sometimes musical; basically songs with good "storylines" to follow in their lyrics.

Not really. He's thought about it, but I guess he doesn't like the idea. He's not really into unrealistic forms, so that might have something to do with it.

I think Rizzazi enjoys country music slightly more than I do, but other than that, there's not any major differences.

Not really. On occasion he'll wear something like a collar, bandana or hat but really he's more of a natural kind of fuzz.

At times. Mush tends to be an extremist. If he listens to metal it's of the heaviest kind, rap tends to be on the explicit and soulful stuff tends to be the really emotional cry along music. I have a more balanced music collection.

Do you have a favorite comfort form?

So I was having a bad day the other day and got thinking about comfort forms. Mushu usually appears in his wolf form when I'm sad or his pine marten form so he can curl up with me. Got me wondering about others and their daes.

Chi only takes one form, the form of a small albino squirrel. =)

nebelung cat is definitely our fav comfort form, and i can see it being so for a long time.

I don't think neither Tos nor I have a single favorite comfort form. A Welsh mountain pony, a hairy legged vampire bat, and an antilles pinktoe tarantula (a female, oddly enough) are the most frequent. When I'm scared, he'll become an Arabian leopard. Right now he's a tarantula. I think we both have a hard time getting used to his actual form, a klipspringer, because he has been a binturong and a thylacine for so long.

it used to be an arctic marble fox, but for the last month or so arkaine's been a coyote almost always and i'm pretty sure it's going to be the most prominent comfort form from now own.

i've been form-finding recently and i've found that cape pangolin fits extremely well, so i'm very happy about that. who doesn't want to be a living pinecone?
